Pragma, a channel-focused company, distributing Ericsson-LG iPECS unified communications has recently launched a successful new digital event for over 180 channel partners. On the 27th of May and the 3rd of June 2020, the Ideas Lab 2.0 event supported partners around the world with insights on how to adapt to the “new normal.”

The Pragma team and a selection of SaaS professionals gave attendees insights into how to adapt to the new landscape in terms of their business model and sales approach. This event gave resellers a selection of new sales processes to support them in the changing landscape.

96% of attendees said that changing their sales strategy to suit a remote selling model was their biggest priority right now. To ensure that resellers could adapt, Pragma gave attendees demonstrations of new software and tools, like the iPECS2TEAMS solution.

Exploring Ideas for the “New Normal”

Attendees at Pragma’s event were some of the first to hear about new remote installation video toolkits like iPECS Quickstart. Pragma also introduced the online sales quoting tool iPECS QuickQuote to help resellers quote end-users over video tools like Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

Pragma found that attendees were 91% in favour of receiving more training on how to present a professional demonstration remotely. Through July, Pragma will be offering their partners some additional sales—based learning sessions for things like telecoms technology, and cloud tools.

Co-Founder of Berry Telecom, Simon Langford, said that the Ideas Lab was a refreshing insight into what other reseller partners are doing to adapt to a new environment. Langford said that he’s looking forward to implementing some of the newer tools and software in his own pipeline.

A Great Success

Attendees at the Ideas Lab said that the event was a fantastic experience that offered a lot of information for them to take back to their teams.

Sales and Marketing Director, Will Morey, said that the Ideas Lab was a fantastic success too.
