Leading provider of NextGen Managed Services and Communications solutions for IT resellers and leaders, BCM One has acquired WCS (Wholesale Carrier Services). WCS is a national facilities-based owner and operator of an IP-enabled data and voice network.

WCS’s product line, which includes business connectivity, UCaaS, and managed services, will build on top of the BCM One’s core solutions for communication and managed services. WCS will also strengthen BCM One’s network experience while adding talent to the new operational team. This strategic acquisition will further expand BCM ONE’s global presence in the Asia Pacific region while enhancing support for existing businesses and channel partners.

An Exciting Purchase for BCM One

The newest transaction will provide BCM One with a powerful Network Operations Center within the Asia Pacific Region, which will operate alongside NOCs located throughout the Americas. The purchase of WCS marks the sixth acquisition made by BCM One to date as part of the continued strategy for investment in next-generation voice and managed network solutions.

WCS will be joining BCM One’s existing family of companies, including SIPTRINK, SIP.US, SkySwitch, and NexVortex. According to CEO for BCM One, WCS is an organic choice for the BCM One brand and will deliver fantastic synergies with the existing solutions portfolio. The carrier-grade network of WCS and worldwide presence in more than 500 cities align perfectly with the continued investment strategy of WCS.

According to Chris Barton – the president and CEO of WCS, the company has seen significant growth within the BCM One environment for the last few years, and the team is excited to join the BCM One family. Chris notes that WCS is looking forward to playing a part in furthering the solution, geographic, and channel expansion of the company.

The WCS brand and its array of voice and data solutions will be integrated into the brand by the close of 2021.
