Already, the solution is deployed by over a third of the boroughs in London, and 20 NHS trusts.

The OPW is one in a series of government groups who have signed contracts with 8×8 in the last 12 months. Sefton Council, a local authority providing essential resources for more than 270,000 residents across Liverpool is another example of a recent 8×8 customer in the public services sector. Additionally, NHS Public Health in Scotland also expanded the 8×8 UCaaS and CCaaS product recently to support a staff of over 3,500 distributed employees.

Mental health, community healthcare, and learning disability services provider Black Country Healthcare also embraced 8×8 XCaaS to enhance the patient communication and support capabilities for more than 3,000 employees recently.

According to Head of ICT at OPW, Liam Stewart, the group needed to take a different approach to communications to deliver amazing service to customers.
