Midwich’s new Mi Insight solution offers a proactive, round-the-clock monitoring service for dealer partners globally.
Mi Insight is a part of the AV distie’s Mi Services portfolio. It monitors and reports on all AV and UC equipment within a system, including platforms running in the cloud, such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
The solution allows partners to tackle the complexities of managing an estate of AV kit and UC systems by giving them increased visibility and control across the entire network, as well as allowing them to offer a service level agreement to identify any issues quickly, regardless of where they are located in the world.
MI Insight lives on the AV network, monitoring AV and UC&C equipment, and tracking status, health, and usage. It sends automated responses to devices in a fault state once problems arise, and the dashboard displays all AV and UC&C systems in one place.
“We are proud to support our global network of dealers with this truly unique service,” stated Jon Dew-Stanley, Director of Technical, Services and Support at Midwich.
“Mi Insight has been developed to give complete peace of mind to our dealers, allowing them to see in real time when anything goes wrong, ensuring it is handled quickly and appropriately. The single application provides complete visibility of an end users’ UC estate, digital signage systems, LED walls or presentation spaces, delivering unparalleled oversight over their networks”
“Additionally, the platform can also be white labelled to cater to different brand guidelines, meaning it is highly adaptable.”
Last month, MD Stephen Fenby said that the distributor’s entrance into the UC market has “enhanced” its customer base, while revenues hit £390.1m for its H121.
