On September 16, Yeastar live streamed its 2021 launch event, centered fully around new solutions supporting Digital Transformation processes. The company declared its commitment to helping its customers adjust to and thrive in the post-pandemic age of hybrid work, prompting an acceleration of DX adoption by businesses worldwide.

Having just recently celebrated its 15th anniversary, the event opened with a heartfelt thank you to the company’s loyal customers and partners; followed by the presentation of the three new products.

P-Series PBX System Cloud Edition

First up was the company’s cloud edition of its most popular product: the P-Series PBX System.

The Yeastar P-Series PBX, now available in cloud form, is a lot more than just a PBX: it’s a comprehensive UC solution for SMEs, converging voice, video, applications and collaboration, whether in-office or working remotely. The P-Series PBX provides all the necessary features, from audio/video calls and conferencing to presence information and Instant Messaging.

More of the different features that the P-Series Cloud Edition has to offer:

  • A turnkey solution for service providers, allowing to quickly launch services without having to worry about severs
  • Interoperability with standard SIP trunks and a wide variety of SIP endpoints
  • Interoperability with third-party platforms like MS Teams and Zoho CRM
  • A full suite of UC functionalities, from Linkus Web, Mobile, and Desktop Client, to call center capabilities
  • And the cherry on top: the Yeastar Central Management (YCM) interface, allowing service providers to create cloud PBX instances for customers in just a few clicks while enabling easy, comprehensive remote management capabilities

And that’s really not all!

To actually get a taste of all of it, Yeastar are offering a 30-day free trial so users can get a hands-on experience.

5G CPE

The second solution to be introduced was Yeastar’s new 5G CPE.

As cloud communications require faster and more stable broadband connections, Yeastar set a goal for themselves to provide that to users by making 5G technology accessible to them.

The Yeastar 5G CPE, as described in the launch event, is “a 5G connection hub for unparalleled connectivity and uninterrupted connection.”

Among other features and benefits, the Yeastar 5G CPE offers:

  • A Qualcomm Quad-core processor, ensuring performance and reliability
  • Converting 5G signals into Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet
  • Support of 13 frequency bands, SA and NSA networks
  • A cover of 4G networks and downwards
  • A peak 5G download speed of 2.5 Gbps per second
  • 4 by 4 MiMO with more speed and better signal
  • Equipment with omnidirectional high-gain antennas

Yeastar Workplace

Last but not least was introduced Yeastar’s latest innovation in the Digital Workplace arena – Yeastar Workplace.

There’s no doubt that the hybrid work environment has created a need to be able to book meeting rooms remotely and automate the booking process as much as possible. But how?

Well, Yeastar Workplace is here to help with just that.

Yeastar Workplace offers room displays mounted outside meeting rooms, linking directly to a cloud-based booking system. The small, squared screens present the schedule of the room for the day, and show real-time status of a room, using easily-distinguishable colors. This means an end for mix-ups, no-shows and double bookings!

Yeastar’s solution offers a “check-in” capability to reduce the phenomenon of people booking meeting rooms and not showing up – causing a room that is in fact free to be marked as occupied. The solution also uses smart technologies to auto-release a booked-but-abandoned rooms, so that it can be back in use as quickly as possible.

Yeastar Workplace offers plenty of other features, like occupancy sensor and people counting sensor detecting the situation of a room; and analytics to automate and optimize meeting scheduling even further. It’s a “truly interactive workplace scheduling solution for modern offices.”

To conclude, Yeastar’s 2021 launch event has been a true educational gem for businesses interested in adjusting to the current situation by adopting Digital Transformation practices. The company’s new solutions take users yet another step into the future.
