Nasstar has launched a standalone unit dedicated to its partner channel.
The managed service provider (MSP)’s new Nasstar Channel division comes after it acquired KCOM’s National ICT services business in August, a move it claims now makes Nasstar – formerly known as GCI – one of the largest independent providers of transformative technologies in the UK, with a headcount of over 1,200 and around 600 partners.
Nasstar Channel will have a new black-and-white brand setting it apart from the Nasstar group.
“Now the acquisition is complete, we wanted to turn our attention to our partners,” stated Dave Hawkins, Head of Sales for Nasstar Channel.
“To do this, we’ve broken the channel away from the rest of the business to focus on what our partners really need. We are investing heavily in our technology, boosting automation and innovation, with a rapidly evolving portfolio of solutions and services and are striving to become a single source of partner solutions for the channel.
“We’re also removing the complexity, making it easy to do business with us, providing our partners with the tools, training, and expert guidance to maximise their potential and add value for their customers.”
Early initiatives of the new unit include paper-free automated processes with easy onboarding online, as well as training tools and technical support moving online with a new and improved Partner Portal, making it up to 60 percent quicker to buy services from Nasstar Channel.
Services will be further refined, and Nasstar Channel said it is committed to developing its engagement and enablement strategies to help partners extend their reach.
“In a constantly evolving marketplace, customers are making the journey from legacy to new technology and are at various stages in their transformation,” Hawkins continued.
“It’s complex and they need strategic advice and solutions to help get them there. We have the technologies and services customers need and with access to all the major vendors, we are offering best-in-class features, functionality, and expertise born out of decades of experience.”
