Rick Corteville has joined video collaboration specialist DTEN as Chief Marketing Officer, as the firm ups its efforts to expand globally.
Corteville (pictured) is responsible for managing the company’s worldwide branding, marketing and advertising initiatives. He brings extensive expertise in digital channels, customer experience management and integrated marketing, previously holding senior leadership positions at ViacomCBS.
At ViacomCBS, most recently he was Vice President for Growth and Identity Management. He directly managed global integrated marketing teams, implemented sales strategies across the product portfolio, and “substantially increased revenue” through ongoing testing and optimisation, said DTEN. He also launched Studio 61, the first branded content studio at ViacomCBS.
Prior to ViacomCBS, Corteville held positions at the likes of Mediabrands, Zenith and Beyond Interactive.
“Corteville will similarly serve as a growth driver at DTEN, recognised for its all-in-one, Zoom-enabled video collaboration devices,” said DTEN. Zoom took an investment in DTEN this October, to “accelerate new product and services innovations”, DTEN said.
“With such an impressive portfolio of video collaboration solutions – and more on the way in the coming year – I look forward to working with our marketing team,” said Corteville.
“We plan to deliver the next phase of growth, as we expand into new markets, broaden our digital presence and develop new engaging customer experiences.”
He added: “As organisations across the world are establishing hybrid work policies, DTEN is uniquely positioned to assist them; our immersive solutions will ensure their team members are connected, fully collaborating and productive.”
“Rick is an accomplished and strategic business leader with demonstrated success in developing innovative marketing programmes, driving measurable results, and leading high-performance teams,” said Wei Liu, DTEN CEO and Founder. “He will play a vital role on the DTEN senior executive team, helping us to drive and manage international growth.”
DTEN launched the DTEN ME video conferencing device, designed for the work-from-home environment, at InfoComm 2020 Connected.
