GoTo has appointed Michael Day as Vice President of Partner Sales.
Day joins from RingCentral, where he had been in channel-facing roles since 2016.
GoTo’s current channel boss, Patrick McCue, will move to head up the channel business at GoTo’s LastPass business.
Mike Kohlsdorf, CEO at GoTo, said: “As we look towards the future of both GoTo and LastPass, it is clear that we need industry experts to lead partner programmes at both businesses.
“Today, I’m excited to welcome Michael Day to GoTo. With years of experience in the UCaaS and software space, Michael’s skillset positions him well to continue to grow effective partner programmes for all GoTo products.
“For the LastPass business, Patrick McCue’s past experience at security companies made him our natural pick to lead the LastPass partner programme.”
Before being at RingCentral, Kohlsdorf spent 13 years at SCRAM Systems, which provides software to the criminal justice and government industry.
Day said: “Having spent many years in the UCC space, I saw a tremendous opportunity to join the new GoTo.
While an established player in the remote workspace, the recent rebrand to GoTo and simplified portfolio of collaboration and remote support tools brings incredible differentiation to a crowded market needing a refresh.
“I look forward to working with the team to explore new possibilities to grow our partner programme globally and separate GoTo as the clear leader in the space.”
The change in leadership comes soon after LogMeIn was rebranded to GoTo and launched two products, GoTo Connect and GoTo Resolve.
Meanwhile, it was announced in December last year that LastPass will be spun out into a separate company by GoTo’s private equity backers.
