Microsoft appoints New Operator Connect Accelerator Provider

Microsoft has appointed PingCo as an Operator Connect Accelerator (OCA) partner.

PingCo joins the five partners Microsoft revealed when the programme launched last month.

OCA is designed to streamline the process carriers must undertake to become authorised for Operator Connect.

Dan Pearson, CEO of Australia-based PingCo, said: “Typically, carriers who go to market through TCAP have their offerings ready in just a few weeks.

“We provide the platform, which streamlines both the customer journey and Microsoft’s verification process, and we automate the backend integration and carrier testing services.

“As a result, we shorten the time to market from six to 12 months to just a couple of weeks.”

PingCo’s Operator Connect offering is built on its TCAP platform, which is purpose-built for service providers and also supports Direct Routing.

TCAP automates onboarding, connectivity and validation for service providers.

The firm joins AudioCodes, NUWAVE, Ribbon, SIPPIO, and Microsoft itself (via Metaswitch) as an OCA partner.

Taimoor Husain, Modern Workplace Strategy and GTM lead for Telcos at Microsoft, said: “We knew PingCo could operate quickly, we were very excited by the platform they have built to specifically bridge this gap.

“After seeing TCAP in action, we were very impressed by the platform’s ability to not only onboard an Operator but deliver a first-class customer experience.

“Their unique way of delivering zero code integration to carrier OSS/BSS systems is impressive.”
