ActivTrak Integrates with Google Workspace For Work Insights

ActivTrak has released an integration with Google Workspace that delivers personal work insights to help employees improve their digital work habits.

Customers can embed their individual work metrics into Google Workspace applications to gain visibility to organise their workday, protect focus time, and improve their general well-being.

ActivTrak for Google Workspace means users can see work activity metrics for Gmail, Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and Slides throughout their day.

Ramon Chen, ActivTrak’s Chief Product Officer, said: “Today’s business landscape and hybrid work environments require employees to be healthy, engaged, focused and empowered.

“Working with Google Workspace, our solutions drive business efficiencies that help users gain the visibility they need into all their work activities to optimize workdays, improve digital dexterity and ultimately thrive in the modern, hybrid workplace.”

According to ActivTrak’s 2022 State of the Workplace Report, collaboration tools interrupt employees an average of 70 times per day, and only three per cent of employees have focus sessions that last longer than 50 minutes.

The integration will deliver insights into daily screen time, average focus time, top “attention-shifting” apps or websites, total time for breaks taken, days overworked, and more.

Users can view their personal metrics on a daily and weekly basis to determine how might be best to modify their working day and reduce distractions.

ActivTrak integrations can also help businesses combine workforce activity data with other applications and data sources such as contact centres, customer service help desks, salesforce automation, workplace collaboration, and more.

ActivTrak is available to Google Workspace users now via the Workspace Marketplace.

The company aims to help digital workforces work “wiser” with more than 9,000 customers and 550,000 users worldwide.

Google recently expanded its Workspace Individual offering to users in Europe.

The company launched the platform over a year ago to help solo business owners reach new customers and bring their ideas to life.
