DTEN has launched its D7X Series, which is purpose-built for the hybrid workplace to deliver optimal video collaboration experiences.

The company has confirmed that the all-in-one, AI-powered device is optimised to allow users to access Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

Designed as a “muli-platform” solution, the D7X Series offers bring-your-own-device (BYOD) flexibility to users.

Wei Liu, DTEN founder and CEO, said: “The DTEN D7X Series takes video collaboration to the next level with true clarity of presence, fully interactive touch, and AI-enhanced meeting experiences.

“Our passion for true-to-life interactions, relentless focus on intuitive user experiences, and unparalleled expertise in product design all come together with DTEN D7X.

“The DTEN D7X Series is designed to deliver high-level performance today and tomorrow.

“Our customers gain brilliant video, rich room-filling sound, and interactive touch-enabled tools right out of the box.

“Plus, our devices are designed to be future-proof with new advancements easily made available through simple firmware updates.”

According to DTEN, the all-in-one design of the D7X Series allows for “inclusive and productive” collaborations due to AI-powered video, sound, and whiteboarding.

The device only requires a single USB-C charging cable to connect and includes additional HDMI and USB-C ports to add a dual screen or additional devices.

DTEN says that the visuals are powered with a built-in 4K wide-angle camera, along with an extra-wide 129-degree FOV for a panoramic room view.

The sound on the device is optimised through a 15-microphone array, enhanced speaker clarity, and volume four times more powerful than DTEN’s previous generation. AI automation also brings noise reduction and echo cancellation to the device.

DTEN has designed the D7X Series for use in medium to large conference rooms, huddle spaces, executive offices, training centres, and home offices.

DTEN has confirmed that a Windows Edition of the D7X Series is available now through its channel partners, with an Android Edition set to be introduced later this quarter.

Both editions of the DTEN D7X are available in 55-inch and 75-inch models.

Earlier this month, DTEN has announced its intention to pursue a Certified for Microsoft Teams designation on its most popular collaboration devices.

Being Certified for Microsoft Teams would ensure that DTEN is a vendor that can provide hardware, support, and device management to the 270 million Teams users.

DTEN has also launched several products in conjunction with Zoom this year. In April, the company released the DTEN ONboard, the first digital canvas to natively support Zoom’s Advanced Whiteboard features.

Then in August, it released an Ethernet-enabled version of its DTEN Mate Zoom Rooms Controller.

The Power over Ethernet (PoE) offering of the device joined the wireless counterpart as a secure controller that is compatible with manufacturer-certified Zoom Rooms devices.
