WhatsApp is one of the most popular mobile messaging apps in the world, which has the potential to unlock a global audience for businesses, according to Luka Rukavina, Product Owner and Business Analyst at Soprano.
Soprano’s WhatsApp API can allow users to leverage WhatsApp for Business accounts, which can engage with the two million active mobile users on the app.
The company has designed the API to allow its customers the ability to use a platform that they might be already familiar with.
Rukavina commented: “WhatsApp is predominantly used in most parts of the world.
“Businesses that are interested in connecting with a global audience should know that WhatsApp has two billion monthly users worldwide and is one of the most popular mobile messaging apps.
“Customers are familiar with the app since they are already using it in their personal lives.
“Businesses should leverage the popularity of WhatsApp and communicate their business needs through it as well.”
According to Soprano, 175 million people send messages to WhatsApp for Business accounts daily.
An LMK research report found that 88 per cent of young adults view WhatsApp as an essential mobile app.
Therefore, Soprano updates its WhatsApp API whenever Meta deploys an update to the platform to ensure that its customers have access to every feature.
The company has also recently enhanced its cloud API to offer interactive messaging through WhatsApp so users can now send text images, audio, documents, lists, and more.
The platform can also be used as a secure form of communication due to WhatsApp being GDPR compliant, meaning businesses can deal with sensitive information such as customer data.
When Soprano customers deploy the WhatsApp business solution provider, the platform slots in alongside their existing CRM and IT software.
The solution has been designed to be easy to integrate and requires low coding.
Rukavina added: “For businesses not only using WhatsApp to reach their audience, Soprano has the ability to communicate via various other messaging channels.
“For example, if a business wants to communicate over WhatsApp and then transition to RCS message, SMS or even e-mail, we have the ability to message all users anywhere, anytime.”
