Candian insurance broker Westland Insurance Group has deployed RingCentral to power its business communication needs.
It means that Westland Insurance Group’s 2,200 employees will have access to RingCentral MVP, which can be seamlessly integrated with the company’s existing communication tools, such as Microsoft Teams.
The company has selected RingCentral to allow Westland Insurance Group to scale up as it enters a period of expected “hyper-growth”.
Carson Hostetter, chief revenue officer at RingCentral, commented: “Our customer’s success is our success. Cloud communications were made for growing and expanding companies like Westland Insurance.
“All our customers need is an internet connection without the need for any hardware and voila – they’re connected and set-up, offering virtually unlimited scalability for any growing company.
“We’ve designed our interface to be easy to use, and we are proud of how simple it is to integrate with other systems because we value our customers’ time.
“Enabling them to ramp up quickly translates to business continuity and better customer experience for them.
“We are thrilled to be able to support Westland Insurance as they continue to grow and invest in their business across Canada.”
According to RingCentral, Westland Insurance Group needed a single, reliable, and centralised communications solution to help improve communication across the company’s locations.
Before deploying RingCentral MVP, Westland Insurance Group was managing multiple vendors for the various on-premise solutions and hosted systems it had.
Paul Plischke, CIO for Westland Insurance, said: “We were dealing with multiple interfaces, vendor reps, and different management consoles.
“We were ready to make the switch to a system where we could consolidate and centralise everything, and we turned to RingCentral for three key reasons: ease of use, agility, and ability to integrate with our existing systems.
“We are looking forward to RingCentral MVP helping us to connect, communicate, and collaborate more efficiently and effectively nationally with our brokerage sites and customers as well.”
Alongside RingCentral MVP, RingCentral for Microsoft Teams will allow the Westland Insurance Group workforce to place and receive business calls from the Microsoft Teams platform.
Earlier this year, RingCentral was deployed by Preferred Risk Insurance Services following an increase in call levels.
The company has enabled its employees with RingCentral MVP and RingCentral Contact Centre to meet the needs of its growing customer base.
At the time, Preferred Risk Insurance Services said it selected RingCentral because it required a cloud communications solution that allows employees to call, message, and meet in one app and a cloud contact centre to provide routing and reporting capabilities.
