Dutton confirms that Poly is taking a wait-and-see approach while simultaneously accepting hybrid work has changed the environment for companies, organisations and workforces. She states: “At the moment, our product roadmap is very much in the innovation period because we’re looking at what hybrid working as a trend is looking like over the next 12 months.”

Dutton adds emphatically:
“I think nowadays most people believe that there’s no nine to five anymore. Hybrid work is here to stay.”
Clarifying Poly’s approach regarding the relationship between tech and hybrid work, Dutton elaborates: “For us, when we look at technology innovation and what the roadmap looks like, it’s about the people and the spaces. The technology then comes hand in hand with that — the people are key in how they feel about working in a flexible environment.”
For Poly, its offering is always developing. Dutton points this out: “Products are constantly evolving, and we’ve got quite an extensive portfolio with, for example, video conferencing speakerphones and an enterprise portfolio with a service wrap around, something we truly believe is a One-Stop shop for all.”

In-Depth Poly Interview Explains Approach to Customers

Dutton discusses in depth how company and organisations and their ways of working are inextricably linked with the deployment of the technology; she says: “With our portfolio when looking at the technology, what we try to do is look at the person owner and work styles that people have in their environments. But then we examine what those look like, and the work styles determine the technology.”

In the ten-minute short-form UC Big Update video, Dutton exclusively answers the question of Poly’s product roadmap, outlining the approach it intends to take over the coming 12 months and revealing what is most important for the tech firm when it comes to providing for customers.

Dutton explains:

“Equality and equity are really key to us. That’s where we focus our portfolio and our product innovation, making sure that colleagues can be included in a meeting as much as possible.”
