CallTower has added Zoom Phone to its range of UCaaS solutions.

Zoom Phone is the service’s scalable cloud-based phone system, consolidating its communication and collaboration offerings into one platform, including voice, conferencing, video and messaging. Zoom Phone’s integration with CallTower’s portfolio of contact centre and communications solutions enables CallTower customers to consolidate multiple business phone systems into a unified platform.

Jason Gilligan, Global Business Development for Zoom Phone, said:

“Zoom is very excited to welcome CallTower as a partner. CallTower’s robust technology infrastructure, flexible deployment options, and exceptional customer support ensure that businesses of all sizes can seamlessly transition to Zoom Phone and experience the full benefits of a modern cloud communication system.”

Zoom Phone includes various features that bolster CallTower’s product for enterprise customers, including call recording, call forwarding, caller ID, and call routing. Doug Larsen, VP of Software and Product at CallTower, highlighted that Zoom Phone is a state-of-the-art modern phone system that is also intuitive, making it an essential addition to their portfolio of solutions.

“Our current Zoom offering has been extremely valuable when it comes to keeping our clients connected,” expanded William Rubio, CallTower’s Chief Revenue Officer. “As a UCaaS industry leader, we are looking forward to offering Zoom’s world-class global phone service in our efforts to continually provide more UC options.”

CallTower Launched Integrated App for Zoom in January

CallTower launched CallTower App for Zoom a few months ago, adding a Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC) experience to Zoom. The CallTower for Zoom app provides users with a single call platform that supports inbound and outbound calling via the public switched telephone network (PTSN).

The BYOC framework, enabled by the Zoom Phone Provider Exchange, allows the app to deliver voice connectivity across a network encompassing over 70 countries. The app offers users a connection between Zoom and CallTower’s cloud-based global voice network, which previously meant that customers could use CallTower Connect to interact with or migrate to Zoom Phone for intuitive DID management. However, CallTower’s recent addition of Zoom Phone directly into their UCaaS platform streamlines this process even further.

CallTower Expanded Range of Partnerships in 2022

Building partnerships within the communications and collaboration industries has been a long-term project for CallTower. Last year CallTower joined Cisco’s Webex Wholesale Route-t0-Market (RTM) programme to address the needs of SMBs. They were also designated a Certified Solution Partner by Microsoft’s Cloud Partner Programme and developed a strategic partnership with TD SYNNEX, enabling them to facilitate business growth in Microsoft and Cisco reseller groups.

Meanwhile, CallTower hired Chuck Ward as Global Director of OEM Alliances in November to expand its channel partnership team. Andy Ramos, CallTower’s Vice President of Global Channel Sales, explained the addition at the time: “His ability to build meaningful relationships with partners and knowledge of the technology services distribution community will be beneficial to the team as we explore more global opportunities.”
