CallTower Bringing Zoom BYOC Offering to EMEA

CallTower is expanding its Zoom Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC) solution to the EMEA region.

Businesses based in many European countries — as well as South Africa and Israel — using CallTower’s UCaaS platform will now have access to CallTower’s Zoom Phone Provider Exchange offering. The CallTower for Zoom app provides users with a single call platform that supports inbound and outbound calling via the public switched telephone network (PTSN).

This enables users to enjoy Zoom Phone while keeping their existing phone numbers, service provider contracts, and calling rates with the carrier of their choice.

William Rubio, Chief Revenue Officer at CallTower, commented:

We are thrilled to be expanding our EMEA footprint. CallTower’s expanded presence positions us to better focus on global customer needs and support our growing network of partners and customers in this new market.”

CallTower’s Zoom BYOC offering was initially announced at the start of 2023 but was at the time exclusive to North America.

Last month, CallTower also announced that Zoom Phone was added to its range of UCaaS offerings in North America. Zoom Phone’s integration with CallTower’s portfolio of contact centre and communications solutions enables CallTower customers to consolidate multiple business phone systems into a unified platform.

The solution will now be available in Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, South Africa, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.

Dion Smith, Head of Channels, EMEA at Zoom, added: “We are excited to team up with CallTower to provide more customers with the solutions they need to effectively communicate and collaborate across their organizations.”

A Busy Time for CallTower

As well as their expansive range of Zoom collaborations this year, CallTower have also had a busy 12 months or so with further partnerships.

Last year, CallTower joined Cisco’s Webex Wholesale Route-to-Market (RTM) programme to address the requirements of SMBs. They were also designated a Certified Solution Partner by Microsoft’s Cloud Partner Programme. They built a strategic partnership with TD SYNNEX, empowering them to facilitate business growth in Microsoft and Cisco reseller groups.

CallTower hired Chuck Ward as Global Director of OEM Alliances in November to expand its channel partnership teamAndy Ramos, CallTower’s Vice President of Global Channel Sales, enthused about Ward’s addition: “His ability to build meaningful relationships with partners and knowledge of the technology services distribution community will be beneficial to the team as we explore more global opportunities.”
