MAXHUB is launching its new CMA smart display series, which boasts 4K UHD resolution and various features designed to empower collaboration.
The CMA smart displays are Energy Star-certified and available in sizes ranging from 43 to 98 inches, suitable for meeting rooms of all dimensions and developed to offer optimal viewing comfort even in problematic lighting conditions.
There are several features intended to enable better collaboration, as the CMA announcement wrote:
One of the standout features of the MAXHUB CMA series is its dual Wi-Fi capability, which enables simultaneous Wi-Fi 6 and hotspot connectivity. These features allow the displays to act as virtual routers and wireless access points for mobile devices, ensuring smooth, uninterrupted connectivity.”
Another is MAXHUB Share, a secure wireless offering for sharing displays. If users desire wired content sharing, the CMA series includes a USB-C interface which can be used to charge devices at 65W quickly.
MAXHUB’s Pivot software provides efficient device management for customers, involving the ability to centralise firmware updates. This allows the CMA series to always be up to date across multiple rooms, offering stable performance and meaning that possible faults can be quickly detected and rectified.
Furthermore, MAXHUB Pivot allows content to be uniformly played out on displays across the company, bringing collaboration to life across all meeting rooms.
The CMA series also has a conformal coating to prevent the penetration of dust and moisture, while its service life is targeted at up to 50,000 hours.
MAXHUB Continuing Its Run of Next-Gen Meeting Room Solutions
The CMA smart displays are only the latest offering from MAXHUB in providing cutting-edge innovations for meeting rooms that are still adapting to the realities of hybrid working.
Last year, MAXHUB released the UC P25 PTZ camera produced by the collaboration company with hybrid working in mind. The camera features a 4K UHD camera with 12x optical and 16x digital zoom to ensure that meetings are presented in clear detail.
According to MAXHUB, the camera creates a vibrant image, video, and audio quality regardless of the size of the room that it is deployed to be used. The UC P25 PTZ intends to negate disruptive glare and shadows to present “crystal-clear” picture quality. At the same time, it also includes a built-in gravity sensor to adapt automatically to level with the user’s mounting choice, allowing for plug-and-play simplicity.
Accompanying its cutting-edge displays and cameras, last year MAXHUB also released the BM35 next-generation Bluetooth speakerphone for high-quality audio coverage for video conferencing. Thanks to its smart conferencing technology, the portable speakerphone included immersive and disruption-free meetings. MAXHUB described the speakerphone as the “ultimate conferencing tool” for incredible audio quality in any size of meeting space.
The BM35 uses 360° omnidirectional audio algorithms to capture participants’ voices up to six metres away. Eight microphones are built into the speakerphone, optimised to retain speech clarity for a conferencing experience closer to a face-to-face meeting.
Last year, MAXHUB started a tech alliance partnership with ScreenBeam that combined the ScreenBeam 1100 plus with MAXHUB’s cameras. The 1100 plus wasScreenBeam’ss award-winning wireless conferencing and screen-sharing solution, while MAXHUB’s cameras included the UC S05 Al-in-One Video Bar, UC S10 All-in-One Unified Communication Bar, and UC M31 Panoramica Camera, P10 PTZ Camera.
The partnership allowed organisations to use BYOM (Bring Your Own Meeting) and video conferencing in all workspaces, and the ScreenBeam 1100 plus included support for all major video conferencing platforms, including Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
