ScanSource has partnered with Logitech to deliver innovative video conferencing, collaboration and modern workplace solutions.

The partnership enhances the portfolio of ScanSource — a hybrid distributor connecting devices to the cloud — which comprises modern workplace offerings to cover video conferencing cameras, Microsoft Teams and Zoom Room solutions, and an assortment of Logitech products, including docks, webcams, headsets, keyboards, and other accessories.

Eric Spadafora, Senior Vice President, Business Sales at Logitech, said:

Logitech’s decision to partner with ScanSource as a distribution provider is driven by the shared vision of empowering customers and partners to thrive in an increasingly connected world. Together, Logitech and ScanSource will work to expand the reach of Logitech’s industry-leading portfolio, ensuring that all businesses have access to innovative, high-quality products that meet their evolving needs.”

Additionally, Logitech partners can now access ScanSource’s expertise and support to enable business growth, as well as ScanSource’s comprehensive education and training programmes.

“Logitech’s exceptional portfolio is a valuable addition to enhance our communications and collaboration solutions,” explained Brian Cuppett, Senior Vice President, Modern Communications at ScanSource, Inc. “We are excited for this partnership to provide our customers with a more complete solution set for a productivity anywhere workplace model, and in turn, offer Logitech partners our exceptional ScanSource value.”

ScanSource provides communications and collaboration solutions delivered in the cloud, on-premises, or hybrid, including voice, video, integration of communications platforms, and contact-centre solutions.

Logitech’s Production Line of Innovative Solutions Continues

In June, Logitech launched two new products, the Logi Dock Flex and Rally Bar Huddle, designed to enhance workplace collaboration.

Logi Dock Flex is a hardware and software offering that encourages employees to work in the office while offering businesses insights into space configuration and investments. Logitech’s desk booking service, powered by Logi Dock Flex, enables workers to manage their in-office days, book desks using Logi Tune, and notify team members of desk availability, tasks and messages.

Rally Bar Huddle offers an all-in-one video bar product for huddle rooms and small meeting spaces. Focusing on equitable meetings and collaborative experiences, Rally Bar Huddle works best for rooms of up to six people.

Earlier this year, Logitech launched the budget but high-quality Brio 300 webcams. They are HD 1080p webcams with high dynamic contrast, automatic light correction, and a single digital noise-cancelling microphone that enables users to see in poor lighting and eliminate background noise. The webcam connects to users’ computers via the USB-C connector, making it simple to join video conferences. A built-in privacy shutter can block the camera lens, providing users with a hidden workspace.

Logitech’s Transition Period

Logitech has undergone significant change in the C-suite recently, with CEO Bracken Darrell resigning to “pursue another opportunity” last month.

Darrell, who was in the role for ten years, resigned from his positions as president, CEO, and member of the board of directors with immediate effect. However, he remained with the company during June and July to ensure a smooth transition. In line with Logitech’s succession planning policy, the board of directors appointed Guy Gecht, a current board member, as the interim CEO.

“I want to thank all the amazing people across Logitech for their work through the years,” Darrell said. “I will work with Guy and the board to ensure a smooth transition, and I will continue to be a customer, shareholder, and enduring fan of Logitech and its products.”
