What Did Crestron Get Up To in 2023?

In September, Crestron launched several desk scheduling products to address the need for flexible hot desking solutions as companies continued the gradual return to office.

The Crestron Desk Q and Desk Touch maintained Crestron’s expansion into the corporate hot desking market, complementing its portfolio of hybrid workplace solutions. Crestron Desk Scheduling offered a convenient and flexible solution for visitors and employees to reserve and utilise desks at any time throughout the workday.

In October, Crestron received Zoom certifications for the Videobar 70 and intelligent video cameras while launching a new Zoom Phone Appliance and Scheduling Panel with Zoom Rooms software.

That same month, Crestron’s multi-camera switching solution, Automate VX, received a “first-of-its-kind” certification as a Microsoft Teams Room Device for large and extra-large rooms. The news rubberstamped the latest collaboration in Crestron and Microsoft’s 15-year partnership, in which both businesses had focused on creating optimal meeting experiences.

December saw Crestron expand another partnership, with Sennheiser‘s TeamConnect ceiling mic becoming supported by Crestron‘s Automate VX’s multi-camera switching product. TeamConnect Medium (TCC M) ceiling microphone is intended for mid-sized meeting rooms and lecture or collaboration spaces, making it a fitting integration for Crestron’s Automate VX set-up.
