CallTower’s 2023

2023 was another momentous year for CallTower.

Among its most compelling announcements were several eye-catching collaborations with Zoom. In April, CallTower revealed it had added Zoom Phone to its range of UCaaS solutions.

Zoom Phone is a scalable cloud-based phone system consolidating communication and collaboration tools into one platform, including voice, conferencing, video, and messaging. Integrated with CallTower’s solutions, customers can unify multiple business phone systems into one platform.

CallTower expanded its Zoom Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC) solution to the EMEA region in May. Businesses in Europe, South Africa, and Israel using CallTower’s UCaaS platform can now access the CallTower Zoom Phone Provider Exchange. The CallTower for Zoom app offers a single call platform supporting inbound and outbound calling via the public switched telephone network (PSTN), allowing users to retain existing phone numbers, service contracts, and calling rates.

July featured CallTower launching a Microsoft Teams-integrated contact centre, Solgari, to empower the customer experience.

Solgari for Teams, within the Teams app, optimises contact centre management directly in Teams. With a Microsoft-certified Contact Centre via Operator Connect and Direct Routing, Solgari integration delivers better functionality for Teams users, including call recording, IVR, advanced routing, and omnichannel capabilities like chat, email, and SMS.

In November, to cap off its significant 2023, CallTower received new investment to help elevate its UC and collaboration services to the next level. Private equity firm BV Investment Partners announced its investment in the vendor to empower its portfolio of cloud-based communications and collaboration solutions across platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex and Five9.
