Workvivo Integrates With Adoreboard to Enhance Employee Experience

Workvivo, a Zoom company, has announced its integration with Adoreboard’s AI-powered predictive insights platform to enhance the employee experience.

Adoreboard will support Workvivo’s established listening and insights feature set to deliver actionable insights by measuring levels of emotional intensity in text feedback collected through Workvivo pulse surveys. This will assist global brands in quantifying employee trust and improving retention.

The AI platform has been incorporated into the Workvivo Boost Program, which comprises industry experts in Employee Engagement and Internal Communications. This team collaborates with customers to enhance various aspects of their employee experience, including strategy, content, and culture.

“When it comes to employee listening, we use the AI from Adoreboard to collate huge amounts of feedback responses and interpret the emotion behind each answer quickly,” said Colum Nugent, Head of Professional Services at Workvivo.

Adoreboard shows us exactly how people are feeling and even goes a layer deeper by surfacing the prominent themes that will have the biggest impact on employee retention. Ultimately, we’ve seen that using insights surfaced by Adoreboard has had a massive impact on increasing employee satisfaction.”

Over 14 months, Workvivo has noted a 5 percent to 8 percent rise in employee engagement among customers who integrated the Adoreboard platform to enhance their employee listening strategy.

“Workvivo is a leader in driving employee engagement,” added Chris Johnston, Chief Executive of Adoreboard. “Combining their existing listening practices with the power of Adoreboard’s executive-ready insights has the potential to deliver next-level employee engagement.”

Adoreboard is employed by renowned brands like Procter and Gamble, Allstate, and Amazon to analyse employee data and reveal insights that bolster employee experiences.

Addressing the ‘Trust Deficit’

New research from Adoreboard highlights a “trust deficit” among Fortune 100 employers, with trust in these organisations dropping by 10 percent post-COVID.

The study, conducted by data scientists at Adoreboard, analysed 750,000 online employee reviews over 45 months. Results showed that the call to “return to the office” was met with resistance, with 5 percent of employees “expressing sadness” at the idea. On the other hand, the “pandemic dividend” of improved work-life balance led to a 12 percent increase in employee trust.

However, internal communication has suffered post-COVID, with a 17 percent rise in negative emotions, including anger and fear. Stress and burnout have contributed to a 15 percent increase in negative sentiments towards employers since the pandemic’s end, with many employees raising it as a significant concern. Additionally, poor management is cited by 18 percent of employees, fueling a 7 percent increase in anger compared to the COVID period.

What Has Zoom Been Up To Recently?

Last week was a busy one for Zoom. The vendor reported that its AI Companion productivity assistant had reached over 500,000 accounts enabled within five months of launching.

In its Q4 FY 24 earnings call, Zoom underlined the early successes of its AI investments as being key drivers of its total revenue growth, rising 2.6 percent year over year for Q4.

Zoom also highlighted that AI Companion had already produced 7.2 million meeting summaries and highlighted how its AI-first capabilities powered an impressive quarter (and year) for its Contact Centre business.

“Zoom AI Companion has grown tremendously in just five months with over 510,000 accounts enabled and 7.2 million meeting summaries created as of the close of FY ’24,” said Kelly Steckelberg, CFO at Zoom. “We are excited about the strong growth across these new products and the benefits they drive for our customers.”

Last week, Zoom also announced that its AI Companion productivity assistant now automatically detects supported languages when producing meeting summaries.

To support multilingual teams in collaborating and communicating more dynamically across the Zoom platform, the new language capabilities for AI Companion also extend to nine languages for Team Chat and 36 languages (in preview) for in-meeting features.
