Gamma has acquired Brightcloud to bolster its portfolio of CCaaS and CX products and services.

BrightCloud, a prominent European Enterprise partner of Cisco renowned for its CCaaS expertise, has been acquired to propel Gamma’s stated ambition to become a premier managed service provider for European enterprises seeking to revolutionise their comms infrastructures.

Additionally, the acquisition strengthens Gamma’s strategic alliance with Cisco.

Andrew Belshaw, CEO at Gamma, commented:

We are delighted to welcome BrightCloud and the team to the Gamma group. BrightCloud has a strong reputation in the Cisco ecosystem and in-depth expertise in supporting CCaaS implementations and CX transformations, and together, we can provide our current and future customers with the best in industry solutions for leading CX and CCaaS delivery.”

Gamma, stressing that it is already a provider of CCaaS solutions, support, and services, intends to enhance its expertise through the acquisition of BrightCloud. It targets growth opportunities in CX transformation, particularly within the European Enterprise and Public Sector markets.

BrightCloud’s extensive portfolio of Cisco Contact Centre installations and Webex CCaaS solutions, backed by significant experience in implementation, support, and expert services, complements Gamma’s offerings. The acquisition also brings an impressive roster of clients, further solidifying Gamma’s market position.

With over 15 years of experience working with large enterprises and public sector organisations, Gamma emphasises that it offers a suite of UCaaS and CCaaS solutions and managed networking.

“We’re excited to become part of Gamma for many reasons: the culture, the ambitious growth plans, and strong leadership that align well with our company ethos,” added Gregor Campbell, Director of CX Practice at BrightCloud. “Importantly for our customers, knowing we are being acquired by an organisation that puts relationships first means we know our customers will continue to get the specialist care and attention they have been used to but now with greater resources.”

Gamma Bolsters Channel Portfolio With EnableX Acquisition

Brightcloud isn’t the first significant acquisition Gamma has undergone this year.

In January, Gamma bolstered its UC portfolio with the acquisition of the EnableX group.

EnableX comprises three channel-centric businesses: Pragma, Techland, and Candio. The primary focus is on helping resellers seize new opportunities and achieve success across different technology sectors, especially cloud communications. EnableX was recognised as a leading provider of cloud communications solutions to the UK wholesale channel.

“This acquisition significantly expands our channel portfolio, providing greater opportunities for our partners to accelerate their growth,” said Daryl Pile, Managing Director at Gamma Business. “We are proud to work alongside them and the partnership they have forged with one of the leading business communications vendors, Ericsson-LG Enterprise. The most striking element throughout the process has been the close cultural alignment of EnableX and Gamma, both built on openness, loyalty and trust.”

Pile highlighted EnableX’s relationship with Ericsson-LG Enterprise, which entered the UK market through EnableX and the iPECS Unified Communications portfolio, including iPECS Cloud. Ericsson-LG Enterprise will continue its partnership with EnableX and Gamma.

EnableX also maintained long-term partnerships with Ribbon and SO Connect through their go-to-market brands, providing cloud communications and Software-as-a-Service solutions.
