Lightware’s 2024 So Far

Last month, Lenovo and Lightware partnered to launch an advanced solution for Microsoft Teams Rooms designed to enhance hybrid work.

The collaboration merges Lightware’s sophisticated Taurus devices and LARA control software with Lenovo’s ThinkSmart solutions tailored for Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR). These joint solutions aim to redefine collaboration technology standards by ensuring seamless integration, advanced functionality, and an enhanced user experience within contemporary meeting room settings.

Meanwhile, in May, Lightware announced a new integration between its Taurus Switcher solutions and Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows that facilitates bring your own device (BYOD) connectivity.

Lightware reportedly tailored its solution to cater to the needs of systems integrators, meeting room users, and IT professionals, providing advanced BYOD functionality and room control capabilities. The Taurus UCX/TPX Series Universal Switchers facilitate Teams Rooms users’ effortlessly connecting their personal laptops to the room’s meeting system. This enables content sharing and access to controls for lighting, projectors, and shades, enhancing the meeting experience.
