Trustifi has appointed a new channel sales director to improve engagement and relations with the managed service provider (MSP) and security service provider (MSSP) market.

The AI-powered email cybersecurity solutions provider describes Ronnie Tuttle as an “industry veteran”, having gained more than a decade of experience in channel sales.

Tuttle joined Trustifi in June 2024 as a channel-dedicated leader, working alongside Trustifi’s incumbent vice president of business development, Zack Schwartz.

Rom Hendler, CEO and co-founder at Trustifi, outlined some of the benefits he foresees Tuttle bringing to the company: “The MSSP community is becoming more crucial to Trustifi every day, and to the IT industry in general, as trends like digitisation and subscription-based technology consumption continue to dominate the market.”

“We’re thrilled to bring on a dynamic cybersecurity professional like Ronnie Tuttle to make even greater inroads with channel partners, ultimately delivering Trustifi’s sought-after value to business customers.”

“Trustifi’s appointment of Tuttle demonstrates our growing commitment to managed security service providers.”

It’s our mission to accelerate our channel engagements and expand our offerings for this vital community.”

New Channel Sales Director

Most recently, Tuttle worked as the strategic alliances manager at the global IT cybersecurity company Myriad360, creating and managing partner programmes and channel initiatives.

Tuttle has also accrued experience from major IT companies, including Cisco and Fortinet, where he honed his skills in channel development, sales, SaaS solutions, account management, and cybersecurity.

According to Trustifi, he also has ‘extensive knowledge’ of managed security, advanced AI-powered cybersecurity products, and the threat landscape.

What is Trustifi?

Trustifi provides a full range of email cybersecurity solutions with AI technology to protect inbound and outbound data.

The company’s Email Security Awareness Training module offers threat simulation capabilities. It also provides an Account Takeover Protection module, a powerful encryption tool with easy readability and built-in searchability of mail, plus smart archiving.

Trustifi describes many of its solutions as ‘ground-breaking’ and unavailable via email security competitors. It also refers to itself as a ‘one-stop resource’ that enables users to fill out their technology stacks with the necessary solutions.

Specifically for the service provider market, Trustifi has created an MSSP Dashboard to simplify client management within complex environments. It offers one-click rule replication between accounts for rules, policies, and best practices.

Tuttle expressed his enthusiasm to get started at Trustifi: “Trustifi’s solution suite is unique and agile enough to make managed security service providers rethink their approach to email cybersecurity. The product line is purpose-built to address emerging threats for which many legacy software packages weren’t designed.

I’m excited to be on the Trustifi team, working to educate channel partners on how they can better protect their clientele even in challenging and rapidly changing threat environments.”

Last year, Trustifi received recognition in the 2023 Gartner Market Guide for Email Security for its Inbound Shield, Outbound Shield and Account Takeover Protection technologies.
