Boom, TD SYNNEX Sign Major North America Distribution Deal

Video conferencing vendor Boom Collaboration has signed a landmark North American distribution deal with TD SYNNEX.

TD SYNNEX, the global distributor of leading IT solutions, will help deliver Boom’s portfolio of high-performance cameras, audio and connectivity hardware across the US and Canada, meaning that Boom will now operate in over 30 different countries.

Co-founder Fredrik Hörnkvist commented:

TD SYNNEX sits at the centre of the technology partner ecosystem with access to a wide variety of customers. They represent a major milestone in our expanding worldwide reach, and we are very excited by the huge potential this partnership represents. TD SYNNEX is renowned as a leading IT distributor with over 150,000 customers encompassing the SMB, enterprise and Pro AV sectors. Working together is a significant step forward for us.”

Boom stresses that its MAGNA Pro 4K PTZ camera, along with the innovative HALO, AURA, and UNO video bars, are poised to become some of the company’s most popular product lines, according to Hörnkvist. Hörnkvist also highlighted that the new Boom ZYGO multi-connectivity hub will open up additional sales opportunities for TD SYNNEX customers.

Fellow Co-founder Holli Hulett emphasised that the company’s Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) technology ethos and platform-agnostic approach will further drive demand.

“Boom is now making waves globally by delivering high-performance, high-value products designed to stand out,” Hulett added. “We’re bold, fearless and not afraid to challenge the status quo. We do things differently to disrupt the industry. We deeply value our supply partners and customers, and with our steady, sustainable growth, Boom is now recognised as a serious international player. Our dynamic team and constant innovation drive our ambitious vision forward.”

From TD SYNNEX’s perspective, it says bringing Boom on board illustrates its commitment to connecting innovative vendors with great technology outcomes.

“With Boom added to our comprehensive portfolio of vendor partners, we’re able to enrich the breadth and depth of our offerings so customers can continue to accelerate their business and unlock growth for the future,” said Sandi Stambaugh, Senior Vice President of Vendor Business Management at TD SYNNEX.

What Else Has Boom Collaboration Been Up To In 2024?

In April, Boom Collaboration signed a US distribution deal with network supply specialist Flytec Computers.

Flytec, based in Florida, has gained access to Boom’s comprehensive range of advanced conferencing solutions. These solutions include everything from plug-and-play devices to fully integrated room systems designed to simplify meetings and enhance their quality.

Meanwhile, Boom Collaboration launched its all-in-one Boom HALO video bar in January, promising a seamless collaboration experience.

The Boom HALO features a 4K UHD camera, six microphone arrays, and high-fidelity speakers. Available through Westcoast, its advanced features include facial recognition, speaker tracking, AI auto-framing, and intelligent noise reduction. Additional ports allow for audio expansion, making it suitable for flexible spaces and growing teams.

Boom’s video bar lineup also includes the high-performance AURA and the compact UNO, tailored for smaller or personal setups. All products come with a three-year warranty.
