Bose Professional Boosts ControlSpace With Automated Design and Cloud-Based Monitoring

Bose Professional is boosting its ControlSpace ecosystem by introducing two new solutions built around automated design and cloud-based monitoring.

Bose Professional, a leading audio experience provider, has enhanced its ControlSpace platform with two new tools: ControlSpace Accelerator and ControlSpace Cloud. ControlSpace Accelerator automates and speeds up audio system design by up to five times, while ControlSpace Cloud offers a new cloud-based monitoring service.

“Bose Professional is releasing products that boost the value of investments, address the needs of installers, and solve real-word problems,” explained John Maier, Chief Executive Officer at Bose Professional.

We’ve been hard at work re-focusing our entire organization around our customers – transforming the company into a focused, responsive, more agile partner.  We’re proud to be expanding and empowering the ControlSpace ecosystem with the addition of Accelerator and Cloud, delivering the control and security that are at the foundation of our legacy of innovation.”

ControlSpace, Bose Professional’s hardware/software ecosystem, offers networked control, mixing, and monitoring of Dante-enabled audio systems for commercial spaces. The new tools, CS Accelerator and CS Cloud, aim to bring powerful features to the table. CS Accelerator speeds up system design and enhances accuracy, while CS Cloud provides real-time monitoring and insights, making it easier to maintain systems from a single room to multiple organisations.

“Speed and efficiency are crucial in audio system design and deployment,” added Shawn Watts, Director of Product at Bose Professional. “Both Accelerator and Cloud are designed to save time, boost insight, and drastically reduce the time it takes to set up a networked system.”

ControlSpace Accelerator and ControlSpace Cloud are now available for free through a software and firmware update via ControlSpace Designer.

More Specifics On CS Accelerator And CS Cloud

ControlSpace Accelerator is designed to streamline the creation of new ControlSpace Designer projects. Bose Professional outlines that it features a simple and intuitive interface that enables quicker, more efficient, and consistent configuration of ControlSpace processors. By automating much of the signal path and processing design, ControlSpace Accelerator speeds up the process by up to five times, reducing repetitiveness and enhancing consistency.

“Accelerator delivers a huge improvement in the time it takes to design systems during the design and programming process, allowing integrators to complete end-to-end DSP design with just a few clicks,” explained Watts.

Bose Professional says that ControlSpace Cloud offers smarter, scalable management, enhanced performance monitoring, and increased reliability for networks using ControlSpace processors. It allows installers to anticipate issues and troubleshoot systems remotely by providing system monitoring, troubleshooting, and instant notifications through email, Microsoft Teams, Slack, or other popular platforms.

Bose Professional adds that ControlSpace Cloud is fully scalable, so it can be configured to monitor anything from a single room to multiple organisations globally, all from a single dashboard.

“Cloud brings smarter management and greater insight to ControlSpace devices, allowing installers to instantly respond-to and even anticipate system issues before they happen, reducing unnecessary site visits and boosting reliability,” Watts said. “These releases are about making people’s jobs easier, and we’re looking forward to continuing to develop the power and scope of the ControlSpace ecosystem.”

Bose Professional Serves Up Audio Feast With Sound System For Roe Restaurant

Last month, Bose Professional supplied the advanced audio system for Roe, a new Canary Wharf-based fine-dining and socially conscious restaurant.

The AV vendor collaborated with Marquee AV to design and install a premium audio system for Roe, a new restaurant in Wood Wharf created by the team behind Fallow and FOWL. Marquee AV, based in Shepperton, was tasked with developing a system that could seamlessly transition from providing elegant background music during the day to supporting dynamic DJ performances at night.

Roe is a sustainable dining venue with a nose-to-tail, root-to-stem menu highlighting underutilised British ingredients. The restaurant features two private dining rooms equipped with video conferencing capabilities, requiring an integrated audio solution that would also address the challenges posed by its unique layout and aesthetic.

Roe wanted a discreet yet high-quality audio system to complement its modern, coral-reef-inspired decor. The venue’s circular design, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking South Dock, created acoustic challenges that Marquee AV had to navigate. Working closely with designers, they developed a solution that was both visually unobtrusive and acoustically optimised.
