Zoho Launches AI-Enhanced Upgrade Of Analytics Platform

Zoho has unveiled an AI-bolstered upgrade of its Zoho Analytics platform to elevate business intelligence and workplace management.

Zoho has launched a major update of its self-service BI and analytics platform, featuring over 100 enhancements. The update encompasses significant new AI and ML capabilities that facilitate diagnostic insights, predictive analysis, and automated report and dashboard generation. The new features also include a custom machine learning model-building studio, seamless integration with Open AI, and extensions for third-party business intelligence platforms.

“Zoho Analytics launched in 2009 as Zoho Reports, long before technology had caught up to Zoho’s vision for business intelligence,” commented Raju Vegesna, Chief Evangelist for Zoho.

Since then, Zoho has made considerable investments around automation, no-code/low-code development, third-party integration, machine learning, and Zia, Zoho’s in-house AI engine. The latest version of Zoho Analytics is one of the first solutions from the company that takes advantage of every one of these decades-long investments. The result is a democratised platform that is powerful, intelligent, flexible, and simple to use.”

This new version of Zoho Analytics is pitched as offering increased power, intelligence, and flexibility, positioning it to better serve a more comprehensive array of businesses and users compared to its market competitors.

More Specifics On The New Features

Zoho stresses the newest iteration of Zoho Analytics has made significant strides in four crucial domains: data management, AI, data science and machine learning, and “extensibility”.

On the data management front, Zoho Analytics can now enable more accurate decision-making and deeper insights to drive business success. Key additions include Stream Analytics and 25 new data connectors, expanding the platform’s portfolio to over 500 connectors. Zoho says this allows businesses to access a central data repository from a wide range of databases for more precise analysis.

Users can also create and manage complex ETL data pipelines within Zoho Analytics using the visual builder, Python Code Studio, and Ask Zia, Zoho’s AI copilot. The platform features an automatic versioning system, a new Sandbox environment, and a Headless BI mode for consistent insights.

Meanwhile, Zoho Analytics has introduced Gen AI capabilities across its BI platform to encourage the adoption of insights for a wide range of user personas. These AI-powered enhancements aim to deliver more efficient, contextual, accessible, and intelligent insights and actions to the platform.

Eye-catching features include Zia Insights for diagnostic analytics, Ask Zia’s support for Spanish and French, and Auto Analysis for automated metrics, reports, and dashboard generation. Additionally, seamless Open AI integration, enabled by Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), drives more relevant and accurate query responses, making it easier for users to find public datasets and create formula and SQL queries.

Elsewhere, Zoho Analytics now includes the DSML Studio, enabling users to build custom machine learning models rapidly. Key features include AutoML for no-code model building and Code Studio for creating and importing Python models, allowing users to analyse or predict outcomes like customer churn.

Finally, in terms of platform extensibility, Zoho Analytics now allows businesses to sync and standardise data across multiple tools and platforms for comprehensive analysis. Zoho emphasises that the platform includes a new BI fabric for consolidating insights from various BI platforms, actionable workflows within Zoho Analytics, seamless integration with Zoho Flow, and a no-code data connector builder for custom applications.

Zoho Launches New Collaboration Enhancements For Flexible Work

In June, Zoho announced several significant enhancements to its collaboration portfolio to bolster flexible working.

Following a 78 percent increase in migrations from major competitors to its collaboration tools, Zoho is driving the integration of new AI enhancements, workflow automation, and industry-specific features into its core applications.

These advancements aim to provide a seamless project management experience and strengthen productive asynchronous collaboration, especially for global companies with stakeholders working across different time zones.
