Neat and Appspace have announced a collaboration to enhance hybrid work and bolster workplace connectivity.
The leading video technology company Neat and the unified workplace experience platform vendor Appspace have unveiled an integration intended to empower organisations to better manage hybrid spaces, collaborate with managers and colleagues, and streamline IT operations.
Paul Alley, Vice President of Global Partnerships at Appspace, commented:
By integrating Appspace with Neat’s suite of devices, we deliver a workplace solution that reduces the strain on IT while providing a consumer-like technology experience for team members. Together, Appspace and Neat help organizations navigate today’s workplace confidently, regardless of where team members work.”
IT teams can now remotely manage room bookings and capacity limits using the Neat Pulse platform. This remote management capability simplifies deployment and maintenance. Additionally, Neat and Appspace facilitate the delivery of live updates, town hall recordings, and on-brand messaging through pre-designed templates, encouraging smooth and effective communication.
“Our focus at Neat has always been making technology as intuitive and effective as possible,” added Hellene Garcia, Vice President of Emerging Technologies for Neat. “Organisations can combine the strengths of Neat’s video devices with the powerful workplace management tools from Appspace, offering a seamless way to enhance collaboration and productivity while reducing the demands on IT teams.”
The integration, accessible via the Neat App Hub, enables organisations to streamline room bookings, monitor capacity limits, and manage workplace communications directly through Neat devices.
More Specifics On The Appspace and Neat Integration’s Features
In today’s fast-paced work environment, Appspace and Neat underlined the importance of simplifying space booking. With LED indicators synced to the Appspace platform, workers can now see room availability and book meetings on the spot, reducing the time spent searching for meeting spaces.
Both companies stress the crucial role of effective communication within teams. Urgent messages, reminders, and updates can be sent instantly across multiple channels, including Appspace digital signage, Neat Boards, and connected displays, ensuring all employees stay informed.
Interactive maps and directories make navigating the office easier. Neat and Appspace outline that the new integration helps employees and visitors rapidly locate colleagues, meeting rooms, and other critical spaces. Likewise, managing safety and capacity is vital. Neat devices streamline visitor tracking, capacity management, and safety protocols, intending to foster a welcoming and secure environment.
Neat App Hub and Marketplace Available Now
Last month, Neat announced its “pioneering” App Hub, which is generally available and encompasses an application marketplace.
The App Hub is a development platform that hosts a variety of everyday applications in its newly launched App Marketplace, including workplace experience apps, custom web apps, and tools for shared space collaboration. These applications can be seamlessly deployed onto Neat devices through Neat Pulse, a cloud-based platform that provides comprehensive control and management of all devices.
The Neat App Hub features over two dozen providers, offering a wide range of applications from global market leaders to specialised companies. These providers deliver innovative solutions designed to enhance daily workflows. In addition, Neat is expanding its App Hub through its Developer Program, which fosters collaboration with app providers and developers to create new, tailored applications.
Appspace Boosts Workplace Management With Marketplace Launch
Similarly to Neat, Appspace launched a marketplace offering last month to enhance and streamline workplace management and unveiled AI-powered updates to its Appspace Intelligence offering.
The Appspace Marketplace functions as a centralised hub, allowing customers and partners to access and integrate a wide range of workplace technologies through the Appspace platform. Additionally, Appspace has unveiled its latest AI-powered features, known as Appspace Intelligence. These enhancements aim to improve workplace communications, optimise decision-making, and reduce the workload on IT teams.
