Crestron has opened a new modern work experience centre in New York City.
Situated at 200 Lexington Avenue within the New York Design Center, Crestron says its Experience Center offers a cutting-edge, immersive environment.
The company outlines that the centre is designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s tech-savvy consumers, offering a comprehensive look at both residential and commercial applications. It features dedicated areas that aim to demonstrate how Crestron’s products can be tailored to various environments, providing a practical understanding of their impact.
Brad Hintze, EVP of Global Marketing at Crestron, commented:
Beyond just a new location, the Crestron Experience Center represents an investment in our partners and customers, offering them the opportunity to engage directly with our solutions, explore new innovations, and collaborate to solve real-life challenges. This centre provides an unparalleled platform for visitors to experience Crestron’s capabilities and inspire new possibilities to drive their success and their growth in the rapidly evolving markets.”
Crestron says visitors can explore various integrated systems, from advanced home automation solutions that enhance daily living to sophisticated commercial technologies that create smarter, more productive spaces. It highlights that a unique feature of the centre is a workshop where visitors can engage with new technologies hands-on, setting up systems, testing different configurations, and discovering new possibilities, even with beta products.
“Our global experience centres have long been an important pillar of our business and are key locations for offering hands-on interactions,” added Hintze. “This New York City location is a testament to our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and continuing to push the boundaries of what we can offer. We want our clients to see firsthand how Crestron solutions can transform their spaces and enhance their lives.”
More Information On The Experience Centre
The Experience Centre will also offer immersive demonstrations in real-world scenarios, such as plug-and-play huddle spaces, advanced conference rooms, and a fully equipped modern apartment. Visitors will experience how Crestron solutions power these diverse spaces through tangible interactions.
Meanwhile, personalised tours intend to provide deeper insights into the technologies on display. Crestron suggests a notable feature is a large event space with an 11-foot video wall powered by the Crestron DM NVX AV-over-IP platform, which it conveys is ideal for presentations, product launches, and industry gatherings.
Crestron adds that visitors can explore UC through Crestron Flex videoconferencing systems and 1 Beyond intelligent video solutions. These tools facilitate immersive meetings by integrating seamlessly with leading collaboration platforms, aspiring to enhance productivity and teamwork. The centre also features Crestron AirMedia wireless presentation and conferencing solutions, demonstrating the flexibility of wireless collaboration.
Crestron affirms that its control and automation systems will be prominently featured as the foundation for each demonstration. Its intuitive control systems aim to provide seamless integration and excellent reliability, whether in boardrooms, classrooms, homes, or hotels. The Crestron DM NVX AV-over-IP platform intends to offer flexible, scalable, and high-performance audio and video distribution suitable for events of any size.

In March, Crestron expanded its control apps by launching Crestron Control for Zoom Rooms, streamlining the user experience.
The Crestron Control App for Zoom Rooms enhances Zoom Rooms video conferencing systems by integrating Crestron Control, expanding their functionality. This software application enables users to seamlessly manage lighting, shades, AV solutions, peripherals, and the Zoom Rooms platform through a unified interface, streamlining control and improving efficiency.
This was followed by the launch of Crestron Control for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows operating systems in June.
Microsoft Teams users now have access to new room controls for their UC systems, which allow for the automation of in-room meetings and presentations. The news meant Creston Control is now available through Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex and Google Meet.
