HP Poly, TD SYNNEX Ink UK Distribution Deal To Bolster Hybrid Working

HP Hybrid Systems and Poly have signed a deal with TD Synnex to distribute its full range of hybrid work and collaboration solutions in the UK.

All HP Hybrid Systems and Poly endpoint devices and peripherals are now available to UK partners through TD SYNNEX. Professional audiovisual and systems integrator partners can access pre-sales consulting, installation, and support for HP | Poly’s immersive meeting room solutions, which TD SYNNEX Maverick will distribute.

Neil Sawyer, SVP and Managing Director of HP Northwest Europe, commented:

TD SYNNEX’s exceptional reach and expertise in AV and IT channels makes them an ideal partner to expand the reach of HP | Poly solutions in the UK. Together, we’re helping businesses create seamless, integrated collaboration experiences for every workspace and meet the demands of today’s hybrid workforce.”

The partnership intends to leverage TD SYNNEX’s extensive network in the UK, allowing partners in the process to benefit from the performance and quality of HP | Poly’s meeting room and hybrid work solutions, as well as their enhanced interoperability with leading UC and contact centre platforms.

UK-based HP partners can now integrate Poly solutions with HP’s hardware and services, including laptops, displays, software, and support, to deliver comprehensive UC and hybrid work solutions tailored to customer needs.

“HP | Poly’s hybrid work solutions provide our partners with the opportunity to offer a full suite of innovative collaboration tools from a trusted brand,” added James Reed, Managing Director, Endpoint Solutions, UK and Ireland at TD SYNNEX. “We are committed to extending the reach of these solutions in the UK while supporting our partners — especially those in the SMB space.”

Both businesses outline that the agreement between TD SYNNEX UK and HP Hybrid Systems builds on a long-standing partnership. HP Hybrid Systems solutions, including Poly collaboration tools, are already available through TD SYNNEX across multiple European markets, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Portugal, the Nordics, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, and the Czech Republic.

“With the addition of HP | Poly’s products and services, we have options for every type of workspace, enabling greater flexibility and versatility across the portfolio,” said Mark Glasspool, Senior Director, UK and Ireland at TD SYNNEX Maverick. “Alongside the technical expertise, experience, and extensive business development support that TD SYNNEX Maverick provides, HP | Poly solutions provide a holistic approach for our AV partners and their customers.”

What Did HP And Poly Get Up To In 2024?

In September, HP unveiled a swathe of new, AI-powered Poly solutions designed to enhance video conferencing and hybrid collaboration.

HP has expanded its range of AI-powered multi-camera video conferencing solutions with the launch of the Poly Studio X32 and Poly Studio X72 all-in-one video bars alongside the premium Poly Studio V32 and Poly Studio V72 USB video bars.

In addition, the newly released Poly VideoOS 4.4 software introduces advanced AI capabilities for existing meeting room devices. The update includes live setup functionality for Poly DirectorAI Perimeter, enabling IT admins to define smart camera boundaries in real time to focus exclusively on meeting participants. HP also highlights the enhanced Poly NoiseBlockAI v2, which leverages machine learning and sophisticated noise filtering to eliminate echoes caused by glass walls and other reflective surfaces.

That same month, HP acquired Vyopta to boost the capabilities of its recently launched Workforce Experience Platform. Founded in 2007, Vyopta provides a comprehensive platform designed to monitor and manage large UC networks.

Earlier this year, HP launched the Workforce Experience Platform in private beta, designed to enhance employee experiences and simplify IT management through a unified solution. The company stated that a recent acquisition represents “the next step in the platform journey,” positioning HP to stand out further in a competitive market.
