Leaders in audio technology, Bose, recently announced a new development from the Professional segment of the business. The Bose Videobar VB1 appeals to the new age of work, offering a simple USB conferencing device that combines premium video and audio in any meeting space.

The innovative Bose offering ensures that all users in a meeting can easily be seen and understood on video conferencing calls. 6 beam-forming microphones actively focus on the voices within the room while blocking out distracting external noise. Bose has also built proprietary transducers into the system. This technology means that you can reproduce accurate audio that fills the room, taken from multi-media presentations.

Bose Videobar users can play audio via Bluetooth and ensure that every voice sounds as clear and natural as possible. The ultra-HD 4K camera with auto framing provides crystal-clear audio to ensure remote participants can see whiteboards, presenters, and other objects in the room.

Plug and Play Simplicity

The USB-ready solution comes with a single cable, so you don’t have to worry about separate video and audio wires cluttering up the table. It’s also possible to mount your Bose Videobar VB1 system to suit the space, with the wall-mount or table stand included.

All the mounting options available from Bose come with tilting functionality to ensure that the team remains optimally centred within the image.

For Microsoft fans, the Bose Videobar VB1 comes with Microsoft Teams certification. What’s more, this technology can easily connect with existing infrastructure in the network, integrating with a range of third-party cloud solutions. Users can access Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, among other services. There are also remote management and configuration features to ensure that devices are easier to manage from anywhere.

Easy Access and Configuration

In a world of changing workplaces, Bose ensures that the Videobar VB1 can easily be configured with the Bose Work Configuration software too. The software is available either as a web browser solution or via an app. Through this solution, companies can manage devices remotely, and check real-time status information for the hardware too.

The Bose Work Configuration software allows for changes either to an entire network, or a single unit. With the included IR remote or a smartphone, users can also control the settings of their Videobar in real-time.

The Bose Work mobile app easily adjusts zoom, pan, tilt, volume, mute/unmute features, and pre-sets, as well as Bluetooth pairing. Users will even have the option to connect a smartphone to the device through Bluetooth to use the Videobar VB1 to stream music, or as a standalone speakerphone.
