Babble has continued its relentless M&A spree with its eighth and ninth acquisitions of the last 12 months.
The latest pair of deals see it expand its footprint in Scotland and the North of England, with Halo Communications and Digital Communications Systems (DCS) joining the group.
Matthew Parker, Chief Executive at Babble, said: “There is outstanding technology talent in these regions, and in Halo Communications and DCS we’ve acquired two business that align perfectly with our goals and ambitions.
“We’re looking forward to the road ahead, delivering transformational change to even more highly valued customers”
Babble said that Kilmarnock-based Halo specialises in voice, data and IT services in the SMB market. Based in Newcastle, DCS specialises in managed network services.
Brendan Mulvenna, Managing Director of DCS, said: “I’m thrilled with the position that DCS has reached since forming in 1992. The acquisition by Babble is an exciting next step for the business and I look forward to playing my part in Babble’s ambitious plans to be a leading player in the North-East.”
Allan Moffat, Managing Director of Halo Communications, added: “Becoming a part of a likeminded, exciting, innovative company such as Babble is a fantastic milestone in our journey. I look forward to adding my expertise and local knowledge to Babble’s range of industry-leading talent.”
The pair of acquisitions follow Babble deals for Concert Networks and 5 Rings Telecom, Sesui, 81G Blue, Activ Technology, and Ultracomms.
The firm said it is also seeing organic growth, with bookings up 90 percent this year when compared to 2020.
It claims to have over 4,000 customers with 25,000 UCaaS, 34,000 mobile and 4,000 CCaaS users.
Babble was valued at £90m last year when it changed private equity hands from LDC to Graphite Capital.
