MAXHUB is the largest AV manufacturer in its native China and has now set its sights on the European market.
The company was established in 2016 as a subsidiary of CVTE, an OEM that specialises in the design, development, and sales of LCD main boards, intelligent interactive panel, and medical devices and related intelligent hardware. It produces AV products for some of the top brands in North America and Europe, according to Andrew Wong, Business Development and Product Champion at MAXHUB.
After building its reputation across APAC and setting up in North America, MAXHUB launched in Europe earlier this year, selling exclusively through channel partners.
“CVTE focus on innovative technologies, that’s why we can partner with a lot of the top brands. We know that our product has been accepted globally, which is why we are confident bringing our own MAXHUB brand to the market,” he told UC Today.
“We are also one of the Fortune 500 companies in China so even though it’s a new company and new brand, we are very big in China, we are the market leaders in Asia Pacific, we launched our North American operations two years ago and now we are setting foot in Europe.”
MAXHUB specialises in large conferencing screens for both business and education, AV equipment, integrated LED wall displays, and accessories. To ensure seamless collaboration, its products have built-in wireless sharing, with displays designed as all-in-one solutions, and software to support all UC&C platforms.
Its all-in-one devices are one of its key product lines, said Wong.
“When we when we launched our first product with this all-in-one collaboration display, the customer previously would have been using a smartphone then they move to interactive panels, and then might still have needed additional cameras or microphones,” he explained.
“We have cameras with intelligence built in – as well as audio capabilities. As well as that, the customer can install an Android or Windows platform on the all-in-one display”
Channel Strategy
MAXHUB sells solely through partners and has established a presence in the UK, France, Germany, and Italy to engage with prospective partners in these territories.
Among the benefits it offers partners is a “try and buy” scheme , which allows partners to try the product and if they want to buy it they can avail fo a 50 percent discount. This generous discount can also be offered to customers. MAXHUB also offers free training to partners and certifications for its products to ensure customers are confident in the high quality of the products.
“We want partners to be fully trained and understand our solutions,” Wong said.
“This is a free programme for resellers or partners to join, and by joining it they can also get referrals and discounts. Also, if they register a project, they will also get a further discount of the project site as well.
“We’re also looking for good distributors that can help develop the market. We try to look after channel partners, which is why we are entering the market slowly”
