Wildix is celebrating after making its debut in the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for UCaaS, Worldwide.
The analyst has positioned Wildix in the Niche Players segment of the Gartner Magic Quadrant.
One of only 14 UCaaS vendors to be included in the Magic Quadrant this year, Estonia-headquartered Wildix is the only company based in Europe. This, said Ian Rowan, Senior Channel Manager at Wildix UK, is a bonus for channel partners.
“As the only European vendor we are in an excellent position to understand what trends are impacting the local markets and we can react rapidly – within the same time zone,” he said.
“We are the leading European vendor and taking on much larger companies in our field. This demonstrates our agility and that we’re able to move much quicker than anybody else when it comes to enabling our partners to grow their businesses”
Recognising Wildix Partners
Importantly for partners, the report sees Gartner emphasize Wildix’s 100 percent channel-based go-to-market strategy, eliminating any potential conflict.
The recognition by Gartner will boost partners’ marketing activities and provide a strong point in the sales conversation with customers – particularly with blue chip clients – as partners benefit from the globally-recognised acknowledgment of Wildix’s solutions. It noted that as an extension of Wildix’s salesforce, partners can position themselves as the number one European UCaaS provider.
The company also recognised the role that partners played in Wildix securing the position in the Gartner Magic Quadrant, based on their recommendations to customers.
Upon the announcement of its inclusion, Steve Osler, CEO and co-founder of Wildix described it as a “powerful result”. He said that with the company being in the bottom-left quadrant, “we’ll work much more to prove to our customers and partners that they made the right choice. The goal, from now on, is to move higher in the Quadrant, and keep demonstrating the value of Wildix as a provider of Unified Communications as a Service.”
Satisfying Customer Requirements
Gartner also highlighted how Wildix positions its sales-oriented solution by emphasising native WebRTC support, which enables users to access UC services without downloading desktop clients or browser plug-ins.
The analyst said that Wildix’s web-based approach and broad country-level PSTN replacement capabilities – provided by Wildix partners – “can satisfy the requirements of sales-focused organisations with a highly distributed sales and support staff.”
Additionally it noted that “the ubiquitous nature of browsers, combined with Wildix’s WebRTC capabilities, enables sales and support for organisations prioritising B2C interactions via the web as part of their communications strategy.”
The company has indicated that it will continue to innovate while it executes on its product roadmap. This includes the upcoming launch of x-bees, Wildix’s web-based platform for internal and external communications. x-bees allows users to collaborate with colleagues and manage leads from one access point, reducing time spent on daily operations by 25 percent per employee while empowering sales performances, said the company.
