European UCaaS and CCaaS specialist Enreach has widened its presence in Spain through acquiring business cloud telephony provider Telsome.

After the acquisition of masvoz in November 2019, a CCaaS focused cloud communications provider in Spain, the acquisition of Telsome enhances Enreach’s Spanish footprint with new MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) capabilities and a successful SME channel.

The company says this will “accelerate” the roll-out of its converged contact portfolio into the Spanish market in 2022, including its integrated mobile solutions, all delivered by the group’s unified platform.

Founded in 2004, Zaragoza-based Telsome is an SME-focused cloud communication provider that delivers managed and unified fixed, mobile and PBX solutions. Its services are used by over 850 companies, adding up to over 6,000 cloud PBX seats.

Telsome can now also offer its customers access to the converged contact solutions Enreach is offering across Europe, including UCaaS, CCaaS, productivity services and other services like conversational AI and marketing automation.

Stijn Nijhuis, CEO of Enreach, said:

“This acquisition was the next logical step for us in Spain. Telsome’s cloud-focused approach, combined with its dedicated focus on SME businesses and complementary MVNO coverage, will enable us to help a broad range of customers evolve in a challenging new year, with new propositions delivered from our unified group platform.”

Erik Kjorstad, CEO of Telsome, will join the management team of Barcelona-headquartered masvoz. Kjorstad said: “Becoming part of Enreach will help more Spanish businesses in need of better efficiencies, improved remote working and stronger customer retention. Our customers will immediately benefit from access to a broader portfolio, facilitating their future growth.”

Enreach recently unveiled a unified platform that brings together technologies from the businesses it has acquired across Europe. The Enreach Unified Platform – or ‘Enreach UP’ – is expected to be launched next month.
