Cisco Appoints New US Brokerage

Cisco has appointed a new Technology Solutions Brokerage to expand the reach of Webex in the US agent market.

Telarus, which announced its decision to stop calling itself a master agent last year, joins Intelisys as a broker in the agent model that Cisco launched last year.

Kristyn Hogan, VP Collaboration Partner Sales, said: “We are now expanding our presence further with the signing of our newest technology services broker – Telarus, one of the leading technology service brokers in the United States, who contracts with thousands of agents.

“We are excited to join forces with them. With Telarus’ focus on partner and customer success, we believe they are the right partner to help us accelerate our expansion in this critically important route to market”

Cisco said that its brokers are able to offer Webex to agents based in the US.

Dan Foster, Chief Revenue Officer at Telarus, said: “The global work from anywhere movement is ubiquitous across all industry verticals.

“This agreement begins an incredible chapter for both organizations, and we are excited to get started.

“Our combined acumen in driving go-to-market strategies fueled by intuitive and easy-to-use technology in the communication and collaboration space will be powerful assets for partners.”
