Windstream Enterprise is integrating Microsoft Teams into its UC solutions to facilitate Teams calling via desktop, tablet or mobile devices.

The managed communications service provider combines unified communications and voice services through solutions such as OfficeSuite UC. This UCaaS solution scales to 20,000 users and contains more than 100 features, enabling communication and collaboration in the U.S. and overseas.

Integrating Teams will enable users to access the advanced telephony tools of one of the most popular communication platforms, which currently has in the region of 270 million daily active users.

Austin Herrington, Vice President of Product Marketing for Windstream Enterprise, said: “Businesses are rapidly adopting Teams, and as a result they need a trusted partner that has industry-leading experience and enterprise security know-how.

“Our collaboration solutions offer a one-stop shop for customers who want this integration, giving them a unified voice option for all their business collaboration needs.”

According to Windstream, customers who purchase UC and voice solutions with the new integration receive further benefits.

Configuration options give clients the flexibility to enable calling on Teams in several ways and support from its dedicated technical team.

In terms of pricing, the company believes it has competitive pricing. Furthermore, by switching to the cloud, companies can save on the money they would be spending on legacy equipment and hardware.
