Yealink appointed Midwich as a UK distributor of its unified communications and collaboration products last month.
Ross Floyd, division director at Midwich, said: “We are thrilled to add Yealink’s VC range of products to our formidable portfolio of UC&C solutions across the UK&I.
“With more and more companies choosing a hybrid working model, the ability to stay connected and to communicate efficiently with your colleagues and customers across environments is a must.
“Yealink’s video conferencing solutions help organisations to overcome the challenges associated with physical distance while improving communications and collaboration between members both internally and externally.
“This addition bolsters our offering of a complete workspace collaboration solution for resellers from Midwich.
“Our channel partners can get a glimpse of Yealink’s range of products at Midwich’s flagship event, Tech Xpo, on 5th and 6th October at Ascot Racecourse.”
The Yealink MeetingBar A20, designed for small meeting rooms, combines a video conferencing webcam, microphone, and speakers into an all-in-one system. It does not require a PC or individual components, allowing users to simply plug and play.
The Yealink MeetingBar A30, made for medium-sized meeting rooms, has a dual camera system with an AI-powered camera, eight MEMS microphone arrays, and speakers. As with the A20, it is a plug-and-play device allowing for a quick installation.
The MVC range for Microsoft Teams Rooms includes multiple products such as the MVC S60, MVC 400, MVC 640, MVC 840, and MVC 960. These solutions vary according to meeting room requirements.
The MVC 960, for example, was created for extra-large rooms and provides a ‘dual-eye’ 4K conference room and panoramic camera to capture participants in real-time, plus a PTZ camera for a wide lens room view. It also offers AI-powered functionality, such as auto framing, speaker and presenter tracking.
The UVC all-in-one video bar range includes the likes of the Yealink UVC34, which has a 4K AI-driven camera, speakers, and eight microphone arrays. AI features for the UVC34 include auto-framing and AI face enhancement. The UVC34 is designed for small rooms and huddle rooms, as well as work-from-home setups. As with the MVC range, the UVC video bars vary according to room requirements.
Maggie Liu, Director of EMEA at Yealink, said: “Yealink has always made ‘Easy Collaboration, High Productivity’ to be the corporate mission. As one of the fastest-growing markets in the unified communication and collaboration industry, the United Kingdom has always been one of the strategic goals of the company.
“In the past 10 years, Yealink has been carrying out this mission and bringing more efficient and high-quality products to the UK market, which has received praise from all walks of life. This time, the partnership with Midwich, a value-added partner, will take Yealink as a global-leading brand to another level.
“Yealink is excited to work with Midwich, this partnership will also provide more powerful motivation for Yealink to become one of the world’s leading providers of Unified Communication & Collaboration Solutions.”
