Alcatel-Lucent Enterprises has launched Purple on Demand to provide a new subscription-based business communications offering for enterprise customers.

Purple on Demand has been created to help businesses achieve flexibility, simplicity, security, and digital sovereignty as part of digital transformation efforts.

The offering provides communication services for customers with software available through a subscription model
Nicolas Brunel, EVP, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Communication Business Division, said: “No matter size or industry, ALE can help your enterprise to transform and succeed in the digital era.

“Rather than focusing on technology, our aim is to guide businesses through a transformation based on goals alone.  Once a business tells us what they need, we will take care of the technology.

“With Purple on Demand, we are making communications easier than ever, allowing companies to align on budget, services, and operations, all with an unprecedented simplicity and flexibility.”

According to ALE, the flexibility of Purple on Demand allows businesses to respond quickly to market demands by removing upfront transformation costs.

Customers are able to add and remove technology whenever they want, allowing them further capabilities to meet the changing needs of the market.

As part of the solution, ALE uses its products and applications, including the Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise Purple communication server, which is designed to accelerate digital transformations via rich communications solutions.

Purple on Demand can be deployed on-premises, in a private cloud, or hosted, allowing customers to choose the option which best serves their businesses.

ALE says Purple on Demand is part of its Digital Age Communications strategy, which centres on the digital workplace, communications as a catalyst for enterprise agility, and flexible cloud-model solutions and architecture.

Purple on Demand is available in selected European countries, including the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Italy, Ireland, Poland, Greece, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweeden, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Latvia, and more.

ALE is planning to expand the availability of Purple on Demand to new countries in 2023.

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise offers digital networking, communications and cloud solutions with tailored services for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid business models.

The company has been operating for more than 100 years and it is now the “trusted advisor” to over one million customers worldwide.
