Dstny Automate now enables Webex Calling as part of the company’s global BYOC (Bring Your Own Carrier) aggregation platform Carrier Automate.

The Carrier Automate platform, which is delivered by Dstny Automate and developed in partnership with Ribbon, enables operators worldwide to rapidly deliver PSTN services to Webex Calling.

According to Dstny, the platform allows operators to accelerate their go-to-market and address the increase in demand for BYOC.

Carrier Automate is a multi-tenant, SaaS solution, powered by Ribbon, to allow service providers to deliver telephony services to Webex Calling.

Dstny states that the platform is significantly quicker than creating an in-house solution given that it utilises advanced tools and streamlined workflows, along with technical advice and guidance from the teams at Ribbon and Dsnty Automate.

What is Carrier Automate?

Dstny has described Carrier Automate as the ‘all-in-one’ platform for carriers that are looking to add voice capabilities to Teams, Webex, or Zoom.

The solution is a carrier-grade platform designed for implying and speeding up the deployment of global voice services across multiple cloud calling platforms.

As previously mentioned, Carrier Automate is delivered in partnership with Ribbon which brings session border controllers (SBC) to the solution.

In July 2022, the company launched its Operator Connect Accelerator support to help service providers gain accreditation for the Teams voice solution.

Carrier Automate automates much of the Operator Connect set-up process for service providers, drastically reducing the upfront costs compared to building the technology themselves.

When Mircosoft launched Operator Connect in April 2022, Ribbon was named among the launch partners.
