BCM One has announced the acquisition of Pure IP to bolster its global presence in cloud voice migration.

According to Geoff Bloss, CEO of BCM One, Pure IP’s expertise in migrating enterprise customers from PBX and UCaaS platforms to Microsoft Teams was a driving force behind the deal.

“The global infrastructure and flexibility to design both Operator Connect and Direct Routing solutions reinforce our leadership position as a Next-gen Communications and Managed Services provider,” he said.

“Additionally, Pure IP’s international footprint enables us to extend our platform of services to customers worldwide.”

Pure IP specializes in integrating voice across various communication platforms, systems, and applications and offers PSTN replacement services in 47 countries and number availability in 137 countries.

BCM One said the acquisition gives “a robust process” for migrating international business to Microsoft Teams, including pre-sales planning, solution architecture, pre-sales assessment and dedicated support resources

Gary Forrest, CEO of Pure IP, said: “The BCM One and Pure IP portfolios are very complementary and will provide a compelling proposition in addressing the changing needs of businesses around the world.

“The synergy between the two organizations will provide a solid foundation for future growth and benefits to our combined customers.”

Pure IP is the ninth acquisition by BCM One, and gives it additional office locations in the United Kingdom and New Zealand, as well as a ninth US office location in San Francisco.
