Poly has announced new AI-powered audio and video experiences at InfoComm 2023.

The new solutions include the Poly Studio X52 all-in-one video bar, which features a 4K, 20MP camera, and AI noise canceling technologies.

Poly has also unveiled innovations in its Poly OS 4.1 software, including Poly Director AI Perimeter and Sound Reflection Reduction.

Another big release is the Poly Voyager Surround 80 UC headset allows users to be heard even in noisy surroundings and is also the first boomless headset to be certified for Microsoft Teams Open Office.

Andy Rhodes, Division President of Hybrid Systems at HP, said: “HP is committed to delivering solutions that eliminate the barriers inside and outside the room so you can look and sound your best.

“We are thrilled to offer the next generation of audio and video technology, enhanced with innovative AI capabilities so everyone can be seen and heard with total clarity.”

Poly Video Releases

The new Poly DirectorAI smart camera technology, contained within the Poly Studio X52, offers automated framing modes, such as group, speaker, and people framing. Its 4K camera guarantees every participant can be visible, even at the far corners of the conference room.

The Poly DirectorAI Perimeter feature has also been updated with AI-driven software for group and speaker framing.

The Poly Studio X52 has been certified for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. Certification is also pending for RingCentral, BlueJeans by Verizon, and GoTo.

Poly Video OS 4.1 adds new features and capabilities to PolyDirectorAI Perimeter through accurate participant framing. If IT admins add room dimensions, the AI technology will precisely define the parameters and prevent faces from being captured through glass walls or windows. Moreover, Sound Reflection Reduction reduces echoes from hard surfaces.

The Poly Studio E70 smart camera will now connect to the Poly G7500 modular video conferencing system through a standard Ethernet cable. This cable powers the Studio E70 camera and extends up to 100 metres.

The Poly TC10 touch control panel supports meeting control for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android and it can function as a room scheduling panel for Microsoft Teams. The TC10 has been certified for Microsoft Teams.

The Poly G7500 Modular Video Conferencing System and the Shure Microflex Large Room Bundles provide a solution for large meeting spaces. They have been jointly certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android.

Together, the Poly Studio E70 and HP Mini Conferencing PC offer dual camera sensors and an Intel Core i7 processor to enable Zoom Room features. They have been certified by Zoom for large meeting rooms.

Poly Audio Releases

The Poly Voyager Surround 80 UC has immersive rich audio and adaptive ANC. The headset is described by Poly as having a “sleek design for complete comfort”, with soft ear cushions and an adjustable headband.

The solution includes up to 21 hours of talk time, on-ear controls, plus smart sensors for automatic call answering.

The Poly Lens brings improved visibility and insights for company workspaces. It can be used by IT professionals to monitor and troubleshoot Poly devices, as well as streamline device management.

Poly has increased its API integration partners with Ubiqisense and Vyopta to provide customer insights for the Poly Studio X30 and Studio X50 video bars.

Ubiqisense offers insights into room occupancy, usage, and footfall on office floors, open spaces, meeting rooms, and shared desks.

Vyopta provides insights on space usage, unified communications device monitoring, troubleshooting, and meeting analytics.

Amy Loomis, Research VP Future of Work at IDC, said: “Organizations seeking to bridge the gap between on-site, remote, and flexible workers will need tools and technologies designed to meet the challenge.

“HP | Poly has extensive experience deploying their suite of AI-enabled audio and video solutions, which offer an immersive collaboration experience for end users.”
