Sennheiser TeamConnect Mic Certified for Crestron Automate VX

Sennheiser‘s TeamConnect ceiling mic is now supported by Crestron‘s Automate VX’s multi-camera switching product.

TeamConnect Medium (TCC M) ceiling microphone is intended for mid-sized meeting rooms and lecture or collaboration spaces and is now integrated into Crestron’s Automate VX set-up.

The fusion of TCC M and Automate VX technology enhances inclusivity in meetings, particularly those mid-sized collaboration spaces and lecture halls. The incorporation of excellent audio and intelligent video technologies underpins a dynamic collaboration experience. This combination ensures that communication within these settings is optimized for clarity and engagement, meeting the demands of modern collaborative environments.

Bob Bavolacco, Director of Technology Partnerships at Crestron, commented:

This exciting integration between Sennheiser’s TeamConnect Ceiling Medium and Crestron’s Automate VX brings optimum equity to meeting participants in meeting rooms, lecture halls, and collaboration spaces. It provides a premium Sennheiser audio experience coupled with the unparalleled Crestron Automate VX multi-camera switching technology.”

Automate VX technology allows premium meeting experiences with production-style cuts across various apps, including corporate boardrooms, multipurpose spaces, and training rooms. Automate VX employs multiple room cameras which track active speakers, removing distractions associated with conventional camera movements.

TCC M, featuring patented automatic dynamic beamforming technology, allows continuous and high-quality audio reception for speakers as conversations unfold across the room, enhancing overall meeting effectiveness.

“This integration with Creston’s Automate VX is a further example of the flexibility of the TCC M, a member of the TeamConnect Family Solutions,” added Charlie Jones, Global Alliance and Partnership Manager at Sennheiser. “It also demonstrates our commitment to working with our partners to deliver solutions that create inclusive and productive collaboration experiences, whether participants are in the room or joining remotely.”

The integration of Sennheiser’s TeamConnect Ceiling Family into Crestron’s Automate VX technology, complemented by the Intelligent Video Designer software, allows integrators to streamline the setup of larger systems. This integration improves efficiency and saves time in the configuration process for smoother deployment of advanced audio and video solutions.
