TD SYNNEX Reaches Partner Milestone for Copilot Uptake

More than 2,000 partners have now signed up for TD SYNNEX’s Enablement Journey for Copilot for Microsoft 365, with 500 individuals receiving certification in the TD SYNNEX program.

The leading IT distributor and solutions aggregator, TD SYNNEX, has also expanded the offering to cloud solution providers.

It believes these milestones will reshape the way in which its customers work, as well as demonstrate a demand within the industry to leverage the transformative opportunities of generative AI technology.

Reza Honarmand, Global Senior Vice President, Cloud, TD SYNNEX, reacted to the new partner milestone: “We’re ecstatic about the overwhelming interest in our enablement Journey for Copilot thus far and the forthcoming availability in CSP that will enable more businesses and end-users to access this transformative tool.

“As Microsoft extends Copilot availability to all partners, TD SYNNEX is proud to lead AI transformation in the channel.

Our Enablement Journey is providing not only deep technical and operational expertise to partners but also guidance for embracing an organizational culture shift that redefines efficiency and productivity.”

Copilot for Microsoft 365 can enhance user productivity and creativity across Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. It also provides enterprise-grade security, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI to prevent data from leaving a Microsoft 365 tenant.

TD SYNNEX’s Enablement Journey prepares partners to seamlessly introduce Copilot with various support services on offer.

The AI offering provides small to medium-sized businesses with sales and technical enablement, peer-to-peer collaboration, readiness, and sharing tools.

It is part of TD SYNNEX’s Destination AI program, which brings together AI services, products, and resources. Customers can use Destination AI to access Microsoft 365 and Azure services and apps related to data analytics, computer vision, and natural language processing.

A Copilot practice builder is also included so that customers can test out concepts and use cases.

The partnership with Microsoft has been a success, not only from a partner perspective but also because of the strengthened relations it has led to between the two companies, TD SYNNEX said in its related press release.

David Smith, Vice President, Worldwide Channel Sales, Microsoft, commented on the latest numbers coming out of TD SYNNEX’s partner program:  “We are thrilled to be expanding our availability of Copilot for Microsoft 365 to Cloud Service Providers, and we commend TD SYNNEX’s dedication to empowering partners to leverage this transformational technology across a wider audience than ever before.

Together, Microsoft and TD SYNNEX are helping businesses harness the power of AI, reshaping how work gets done in the digital age.”

TD SYNNEX also partnered with one of Microsoft’s major rivals, Google, in November 2022, bringing Google Cloud into the public sector to accelerate digital transformation. Alongside its partner community, TD SYNNEX deployed Google Workspace, BigQuery, zero trust offerings in cybersecurity, public sector industry solutions, Vertex AI, and more.

More recently, in July 2023, TD SYNNEX formed a new distribution agreement with Zoom, which will enable it to offer Zoom’s platform to its channel partners and their end-users.

Headquartered in Clearwater, Florida, TD SYNNEX unites IT products, services, and solutions from over 1500 technology vendors to serve more than 150,000 customers in over 100 countries.
