Project Audio Visual has been acquired by the AVPM Group.
Project AV joins as a sister business to AV Partsmaster, forming a dynamic integration and retail powerhouse that leads the market with innovative solutions. By merging resources, expertise, and unparalleled technical know-how, the alliance aims to provide a comprehensive turnkey solution for AV services, catering to the needs of both SMB and large enterprise customers from project initiation to completion.
Steve Hudson, COO at Project Audio Visual, said:
We are incredibly excited for this next phase of the Project Audio Visual journey. With this new partnership, we are not only consolidating our strengths but also unlocking new opportunities for growth and innovation. By pooling our resources with leading AV retailers AV Partsmaster, we will be able to take on larger projects, expand our reach, and provide even better buying power for our customers.”
Project AV stresses that AV Partsmaster has emerged as the UK’s premier supplier of AV and UC technology hardware to the UK SMB and education sectors. The new group’s collaborative approach is designed to enable both entities to deliver complete integration, service contracts, and on-site support for a wide array of AV and IT installation projects, catering to the needs of their vast combined customer base.
“We are a people business and that matches Project Audio Visual’s approach and values perfectly,” added Paul Jennings, CEO of AVPM Group. “The ambition is to continue to provide a nimble, friendly and highly technical service for customers of all kinds.”
“The opportunity to invest in a fantastic, world-class, award-winning integrator such as Project Audio Visual really was a one-off moment, and we believed both organisations share the same vision and commitment to being bold, disruptive, and customer-focused. Both companies are incredibly successful already, but we really believe that by combining our expertise and unique skillsets, we will be able to offer a credible alternative to businesses of all sizes for AV services.”
Initially focusing on the UK and European markets, the businesses plan to extend their operations to other territories in 2024. Leveraging its ecosystem expertise, Project Audio Visual will contribute to the broader group, boasting certifications with Microsoft, Google, and all major brands in the market.
Project Audio Visual’s 2024 So Far
It’s been a significant year so far for Project AV, with momentous solutions preceding this acquisition news.
In January, Project AV launched what it described as the “first and only” fully certified global network that offers Microsoft Teams Rooms installation and support.
The Microsoft Teams Rooms and UC experts collaborated with over 36 Microsoft partner businesses to ensure global coverage, encompassing procurement, round-the-clock support in local languages, and access to qualified regional engineers for in-person assistance.
Project Audio Visual has served as a Teams Rooms provider since 2018, aiding organisations in transitioning to hybrid workspaces, establishing digital workflows, and promoting meeting equity for both office and remote workers.
The company is currently partnered with a wide range of Microsoft Teams-certified manufacturers, including Microsoft, Neat, Jabra, Lenovo, Yealink, Crestron, Shure, Samsung, LG, Poly, Sennheiser, and many more.
