Vyopta has upgraded its platform to provide advanced features around space utilisation and hybrid collaboration.

The new capabilities include location-based reporting and monitoring improvements, visualisations of User Experience Score components, enhancements in voice telephony call merge logic, and Space Insights partner support for a range of key Vyopta partners. Collectively, these additions intend to bolster the value and benefits of shrewd meeting space utilisation and collaboration.

Jonathan Sass, Vice President of Product at Vyopta, commented:

We are excited to introduce advanced visualisation components that allow customers to dissect and analyze each of the six independent category values over time. This enhancement provides organisations with a clearer understanding of how collaboration technology issues affect user experience and equips them with powerful tools to diagnose and address these changes more effectively.”

Critically, Vyopta has enhanced its Space Insights feature by integrating support from additional key technology partners, such as Logitech, Poly, and Neat. This integration amplifies the availability of real-time data on room occupancy and people count, providing a comprehensive perspective on how spaces are utilised and the evolving occupancy patterns within office environments.

“By adding Logitech, Poly, and Neat support to our Space Insights, we are enhancing the depth of real-time occupancy and people count data,” added Sass. “This expansion, alongside our existing support for Cisco endpoints, offers a comprehensive view of space utilisation and improves our customers’ ability to analyse meeting room usage across a wider range of technology options, especially of Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms.”

More Specifics On The New Features

Vyopta stresses its recent enhancements to the Space Insights application, which now offers a more nuanced analysis by incorporating physical location and other significant attributes. These improvements enable users to craft detailed dashboards and reports on space utilisation, segmented by building, city, and room type—including huddle spaces and conference rooms—capacity, and more.

The updates introduce greater automation in data collection and processing, as well as in the assignment of location attributes within the monitoring system. This automation facilitates the direct routing of real-time alerts to the relevant IT or Facilities/Real Estate support staff on-site.

Moreover, the addition of a point-and-click interface simplifies the customisation of room attributes, streamlining the process of generating valuable insights.

The platform has now been upgraded with sophisticated visualisation tools building on the momentum of 2023 Vyopta’s User Experience Score. These tools allow admins to dissect and monitor the individual values of the six distinct categories over time. This feature aims to provide a granular view of how collaboration technology issues affect user experience and participation.

With this advancement, organisations are empowered with incisive insights, enabling them to diagnose and rectify fluctuations in user experience more effectively.

Vyopta has refined its call merge logic to navigate better the intricacies of complex enterprise voice telephony systems, which typically consist of a blend of on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures. The enhanced logic is designed to intelligently recognise call patterns and adapt its merge strategy based on real-world usage. This results in a more precise representation of call metrics across both infrastructures and cloud services.

Additionally, the system now offers manual tagging capabilities, which allow users to fine-tune their control and ensure a thorough comprehension of the voice telephony system’s performance.

What Else Has Vyopta Been Up To Recently?

In June, Vyopta joined Logitech‘s Collaboration Program to offer valuable insights into meeting rooms and collaboration spaces.

By providing crucial information through the CollabOS API, Vyopta and Logitech aim to offer valuable insights into space utilisation. This visibility enables leaders to make data-driven decisions to optimise their real estate investments and ensure that their workplace infrastructure aligns with the needs of the modern workforce.

Meanwhile, in February, Vyopta introduced an AI-assisted technical support system to give its customers real-time support by answering queries and solving issues.

Vyopta’s latest AI solution provides “context-aware” assistance, leveraging both the Vyopta Community and its customer knowledge base. This creates a platform that aspires always to be accessible to customers while simultaneously improving the time-to-value ratio and enhancing organisations’ return on investment.
