The leading innovator in collaboration and communication solutions, Avocor, will enjoy accelerated growth through its integration with ADP’s global resources and expertise as a global leader in industrial and commercial displays.
Meanwhile, ADP claims to be benefitting from a greater range of product platforms and services for its customers in education and enterprise markets, meeting the “biaxial transformation strategy” of its parent company, AUO Corporation (AUO).
It will also be better placed to expand into new verticals and sure up its position as a ‘leader’ in smart display solutions with an improved value chain ecosystem.
Frank Ko, CEO and President of AUO, expressed his optimism regarding the future of the two companies: “We are excited to embark on this journey with Avocor.”
“This strategic move will further strengthen our presence in the solution business while also amplifying the cross-business synergies within the AUO group.”
Together, we are poised to set new benchmarks in the display industry, leveraging our combined expertise to deliver unparalleled value to our customers and partners.”
Better Together
More specifically, the acquisition will bolster capabilities for both ADP and Avocor.
Greater investment into recruitment and development, for example, will help to create new solutions to meet customer needs.
Marketing and sales departments will be enhanced, which will speed up the process of introducing new products to market and growing global reach.
Supply chain management improvements will lead to the “seamless” delivery of products.
Finally, with regional operations aligned, ADP and Avocor will be able to offer a better level of customer and partner service.
A Long Time Coming
This is not the first time that ADP and Avocor have crossed paths.
In fact, it has been a “significant” investor in Avocor since 2022 and executive teams from AUO, ADP, and Avocor have worked closely together in order to help ensure a smooth transition.
Moreover, its efforts as a partner over this timeframe have added to Avocor’s product offerings with the likes of DvLED displays, commercial displays, and digital signage.
Scott Hix, CEO of Avocor, GM of AUO Education and Enterprise Business Group and CMO of ADP, shared some of the positive he believes Avocor stands to gain as a result of the acquisition: “All sides are incredibly excited to welcome Avocor into the AUO Display Plus family.”
“This acquisition is a testament to our shared vision and commitment to innovation and excellence.”
With AUO and ADP’s support, Avocor is positioned for unprecedented growth and expansion, enhancing our product roadmap and accelerating our go-to-market strategies.”
Hix is due to take on roles as both the GM of the AUO Education and Enterprise Business Group and the CMO of ADP.
News that the acquisition was progressing arrived last month when it was revealed that the companies were working out the final details and conditions of the deal.
Headquartered in Taiwan, ADP is an end-to-end display service provider with global offices in Europe, China, Japan, and the US.
