Intermedia is expanding its Service Provider Program into Europe, facilitated by a strategic partnership with Dutch Telecoms business Voys.
Voys aims to deliver modern and innovative comms services to the European mid-market. The company says it saw Intermedia’s cloud-based platform as an ideal fit, enabling Voys to deliver enterprise-level capabilities without the need to develop a new system from scratch. By leveraging Intermedia’s thorough UCaaS and CCaaS platform, Voys now offers a UC solution that scales effectively.
“We are absolutely thrilled to partner with Voys, a company that shares our commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions,” said Jonathan McCormick, CRO and COO at Intermedia.
Voys’ strong presence and reputation across Europe, combined with our robust, award-winning cloud communications platform, creates an incredible opportunity to serve a broader range of customers with the best-in-class services they deserve. We are very much looking forward to this partnership and the shared success it will bring as we work together to challenge the status quo in the telecommunications industry.”
Voys says Intermedia’s all-in-one UCaaS and CCaaS solution simplifies communications and contact centre operations for its customers by integrating critical functionalities into a single platform. This unified approach aspires to reduce complexity, lower operational costs, and improve reliability by eliminating third-party dependencies. Voys affirms this will allow it to expand its offerings, knowing that Intermedia’s solution meets high standards of performance and security.
Intermedia’s detailed archiving solution also ensures compliance with stringent European regulatory requirements, protecting sensitive comms data and facilitating simple retrieval for audits. Voys stresses this aligns with its commitment to secure and reliable services.
“In Intermedia we have found a reliable partner to enrich our telecom operator platform with their UCaaS and CCaaS applications. This way, we can offer the best of both worlds in one solution for our customers,” said Ben Hoetmer, Co-Founder of Voys. “The ability to offer an all-in-one, award-winning solution under our own Voys brand, which is already a household name in the regions we serve, was a unique offering from Intermedia’s Service Provider Program.
“This white-label approach aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver top-tier, user-friendly, and customisable communications solutions to our customers without the costly CapEx needed to build our own platform.”
Voys says it’s recognised for serving self-employed entrepreneurs and SMEs with its in-house built Freedom platform and is set to broaden its reach by incorporating Intermedia’s solutions. The company adds that this strategic addition enables Voys to cater to a broader range of businesses, equipping them with the necessary tools to thrive in a competitive market.
More Specifics On How Intermedia And Voice Will Support European Service Providers
Intermedia’s Service Provider Program is pitched as being designed to equip telecom providers like Voys with the necessary tools and support to tackle critical industry challenges. Delivered via a white-label model, Intermedia’s solutions aim to offer flexibility and control, allowing service providers to brand the offerings as their own and maintain complete control over customer relationships and brand identity.
The program encompasses a complete Unified Communications and Collaboration portfolio, including voice, video conferencing, chat, contact centre, and file sharing and backup. This integrated suite of solutions aims to provide a robust set of tools that service providers can smoothly integrate into their existing operations.
Intermedia To Acquire NEC’s UCaaS/CCaaS Operations In North America
Intermedia is set to take over NEC’s UCaaS and CCaaS business, UNIVERGE BLUE, in North America, along with NEC’s partner relationships in Europe. This move marks a significant step in Intermedia’s global expansion, strengthening its brand presence and leadership in the cloud communications market.
The transition builds on the partnership between Intermedia and NEC, which began in 2020 with the UNIVERGE BLUE solutions. While Intermedia assumes operations in North America and Europe, NEC will continue to manage its UCaaS and CCaaS business in Japan and Australia, working in collaboration with Intermedia to maintain service continuity.
