HP Reveals Advanced Docks To Enhance Flexible Workspaces

HP has unveiled several new products and services geared around supporting hybrid work and flexible workspace management and productivity.

HP announced several new docking stations at this week’s CES 2025 event, aiming to offer premium workplace connectivity, management, and security.

Equipped with HP Quick Connect, the HP Thunderbolt 4 G6 Docks use Bluetooth to detect approaching PCs, immediately waking connected displays and accessories for seamless productivity.

HP outlines three versions that cater to different professional needs: the HP Thunderbolt 4 100W G6 Dock for mainstream users, the HP Thunderbolt 4 Ultra G6 Dock with 180W for creative professionals, and a 280W model for technical specialists and power users.

Additionally, these docks offer cloud manageability powered by Poly Lens, intending to ensure minimal disruption to workflows. Security is reinforced with HP Wolf Security and HP Sure Start, while Thunderbolt 4 technology delivers high-speed performance, enabling a single-cable connection to multiple monitors with reliable power delivery.

The range of solutions was inspired by the frustrating friction workers often experience when setting up a workspace and transitioning between locations. HP says it aims to deliver intuitive tech that seamlessly connects and empowers employees to stay productive without interruption.

The HP Thunderbolt 4 G6 Docks will be available on HP.com starting in April, with pricing details to be revealed closer to the launch date.

Other Compelling HP Product Reveals At CES 2025

HP also announced a slew of other collaboration technology products centred on an optimised workspace. The Poly Voyager Legend 30 and 50 Series Headsets seek to provide all-day mobility, with the 50 Series featuring AI-enhanced noise reduction and WindSmart technology to ensure precise audio even in noisy environments.

HP suggests that the 720/725 Multi-Device Rechargeable Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo offers ultra-fast charging and a battery-free design for a personalised desk setup. Meanwhile, the company stresses that the HP 400 Quiet Wireless Mouse, available in five vibrant colours, adds a touch of style and functionality to the workspace.

The Poly Voyager Legend 30 and 50 Series headsets are set to launch later this month in select regions and will be available globally on HP.com starting in February. Pricing starts at $101.95 for the Voyager Legend 30, $121.95 for the Voyager Legend 50, and $261.95 for the Voyager Legend 50 UC.

The HP 720 Multi-Device Rechargeable Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo is already available on HP.com for $89.99. Meanwhile, the HP 400 Quiet Wireless Mouse is expected to launch in May on HP.com, priced at $29.99.

What Else Has HP Been Up To Recently?

HP started 2025 by signing a deal with TD Synnex to distribute its full range of hybrid work and collaboration solutions in the UK.

All HP Hybrid Systems and Poly endpoint devices and peripherals are now accessible to UK partners via TD SYNNEX. Professional audiovisual and systems integrator partners can also benefit from pre-sales consulting, installation, and ongoing support for HP | Poly’s immersive meeting room solutions, distributed through TD SYNNEX Maverick.

In September, HP unveiled a swathe of AI-powered Poly solutions designed to enhance video conferencing and hybrid collaboration.

HP broadened its portfolio of AI-powered multi-camera video conferencing solutions with the introduction of the Poly Studio X32 and Poly Studio X72 all-in-one video bars and the premium Poly Studio V32 and Poly Studio V72 USB video bars.

That same month, HP acquired Vyopta to boost the capabilities of its recently launched Workforce Experience Platform. Founded in 2007, Vyopta provides a comprehensive platform designed to monitor and manage large UC networks.

In early 2024, HP introduced the Workforce Experience Platform in private beta, aiming to improve employee experiences while streamlining IT management within a unified solution. The company emphasised that the acquisition marked “the next step in the platform journey”, strengthening HP’s position in an increasingly competitive market.
