Workvivo Customer Base Jumps 89% in a Year, Cementing Zoom as an EX Leader
Zoom has revealed that Workvivo’s customer base has grown 89 percent year over year, illustrating Zoom’s emergence as a leader in the employee experience space.
Announced during Zoom’s latest earnings call for Q4 FY25, CEO Eric Yuan praised Workvivo for reinforcing Zoom’s position as a holistic, all-in-one collaboration platform that extends to sophisticated employee engagement and culture technology.
Workvivo also had a record quarter, driven by strength across all regions. The total number of Workvivo customers grew 89 percent year over year, accelerating from 79 percent in Q3. We signed three deals over $1 million in ARR, each with major global brands.”
Yuan also credited Zoom’s strategic partnership as Meta Workplace’s preferred migration partner with strongly contributing to Workvivo’s momentum. Delta Airlines represented the most eye-catching Workvivo customer win mentioned in the call.
Yuan highlighted the innovation and growth underpinning Workvivo and Zoom Contact Center as two key arms outside its traditional UC and collaboration cornerstone business propelling the company forward.
What Google’s EU Rules ‘Breach’ Could Mean for Workspace Users
Google is facing scrutiny from EU regulators, with the tech giant expected to be charged with violating EU rules designed to curb the dominance of Big Tech.
According to Reuters, sources indicate that the charges follow Google’s unsuccessful attempts to address concerns from EU antitrust regulators and competitors regarding its search result practices.
While the focus is on search, the broader implications could extend to Google’s UC solutions. Given the deep integration between its search services and the Workspace suite, as well as rising tensions between the US and the EU, potential sanctions could have a ripple effect across Google’s enterprise offerings.
The European Commission has been investigating Google for potential violations of the Digital Markets Act (DMA) since March last year. Under the DMA, companies found in breach can face significant penalties, including fines of up to 10 percent of their annual global turnover, which can increase to 20 percent for repeat offences. In severe cases, the Commission may even impose structural remedies, such as requiring the company to divest parts of its business.

Trello Unveils Major AI-Driven Update (And Slack Integration) To Boost Productivity
Trello has unveiled a new AI-powered platform overhaul to boost productivity, including an integration with Slack.
The Atlassian-owned project management service has announced several new major features and integrations geared around evolving Trello into an all-in-one, next-gen workflow management offering.
By integrating with Slack (and soon Microsoft Teams), email, and Siri, the company seeks to create a centralised hub for essential information. Unlike traditional task managers, Trello suggests this approach combines its organisational structure with AI-driven automation to consolidate tasks and streamline execution, helping users work more efficiently.
Gaurav Kataria, Head of Product at Trello, wrote in an announcement blog post:
As you go through your work day, new to-dos pop up at every turn: respond to an email message, provide feedback on a plan, share an executive update. It can become overwhelming quickly. Fret not. Trello is here to help you escape the clutter and chaos.”
These features are currently available to Trello users in a private beta program, but the company is teasing a potential general release in April 2025.
